The Cumbria Way is a 73 mile, linear walk through some of the most beautiful & contrasting landscapes that Cumbria has to offer. Join myself and Fern as we make our way from the historic town of Ulverston, taking in the mountains, rivers and tarns of the Lake District ending in the equally historic city of Carlisle.

Thanks for watching

  9. Great video, it brought back memories of the hikes we’ve done, (Pike o’blisco, Stickle pike, Bowfell, crinkle crags,) also when you headed towards Keswick (Catbells & Skiddaw).

  10. Derwentwater and Keswick. My fave part of the Lakes. Last time i was there it was mostly submerged. You had cracking weather.

  11. Yup….. Loved it👏👌😎You superbly maintained the great vibe from the 1st vid…….. Fern is a trooper/doll and her legs were a lovely distraction from your hairy bloke pegs that tend to be waving and dangling around normally😆KTF🙏

How do you get to the start of the long distance routes do you travel by car or? if you do what do you do about parking the car for several days i have earmarked this LDP and several others having done the WHW 20 years ago but finding getting to the start difficult and expensive by train much cheaper to take the car but what to do about parking , i understand you can park in Ulvestone car park for 5 days with a special ticket?….. just looking for advice….. great videos as always
