I love your ideas!! 😀 The hydrangeas will be beautiful, and you're right they're so easy to keep and even propagate! Also keep an eye out on buy and sell sites for your Adirondacks, a few years ago a lady was getting rid of two double seats. I gave them a lick of paint and they are the most comfortable seats and look amazing.
Fab plans! We did our garden in lockdown, put up a pergola with festoon lights, painted all our fences gray, put in some raised beds with bamboos, hydrangeas and grasses and bought some new furniture with a gas fire pit. It is literally the best thing we have ever done to the house. We also don't like to eat outside so we chose a fire pit coffee table and I spent almost every evening sat out there over lockdown. We actually ordered the pergola and then put it up ourselves to save money…it was really quite easy to do. Looking forward to seeing your plans come together!

Quick tips, hydrangeas are all about soil ph, the blue ones will change if the ph isn’t ideal. To help our privacy we have trellis and climbing roses to increase the height of the fence more softly. Love your ideas and looking forward to seeing them come to fruition xx
Find a B&M that has a big garden centre section. In the summer months they do some fab furniture. I got a double seat version of the chairs you want from there. Had it a few years now and it’s still doing great.
I can't wait to see the house transformation. We are re doing our house too however it is a rental. But we want it to be somewhere we really want to hang out in, just in case it's another at home year!
I liked both coverings and the fireplace should be centering two mosaic paths.
Yes, Adirondack chairs are from upstate NY and New England. We saw them & fell in love when we did a driving holiday in the ‘Fall’ . I have some I got from Amazon – great price (because they can be £££) will see if I can find the link and send.

With the lights, check out DIY Danie on YouTube. She did a garden makeover earlier in the year and she created posts to hang lights from. The ones she made are movable and reasonably cheap to make xx
With a garden it's best to decide if you want it to be edible, pollinator friendly or pretty flowers and your colour scheme.
I have a garden that is a combination of edible and pollinator friendly, and all flowers are blue white and purple – nothing goes in our garden that doesn't fit our vision!
If you like the shape of hydrangeas, you might also like Alliums, very easy plant a bulb and it will grow year after year.

You should check out a YouTube channel called Garden Answer, she has Fabulous videos on taking care of hydrangea's, making sure you can know what type you have and how to care for each type. You're ideas are lovely, my garden kept me sane in 2020, don't know how I would have coped without it xx
