Wow the Roselle is having a good time growing. So nice!
Tell me where to send them and I can send you comfrey root and seeds. I find it an amazing garden fertilizer that renews itself year after year.
I have a 5 gallon bucket where I powder dehydrated banana peel, comfrey leaves, egg shells, tea and coffee grounds ,and I mix them all together and mix with wood ash. Then when I prep my containers for planting in the spring I put a scoop in the hole with the plants and then top dress around the plant and water them in well.
The comfrey tea stinks to high heavens, that's why I started dehydrating and powdering it instead.
Anyway, they are yours if you want them.
Awesome. That is so exciting to be buying land soon. Great future plans.
WoW Almost 10K subs. Congrats.
Congrats on your Subs. Cooking outside will be less cleanup for your kitchen. I plan to do more outdoors cooking when I come back to AZ. Take care. 💜💜💜 AuntieEllen
The bay leaf video on Insta!!! 🙌🌱 OMG, that one was hilarious! I saved it. 😂 Still cracks me up. Impressive roselle ❤️
Yes try blackberry again ❤
Good morning
Nothing like stinking out the neighbourhood and making the neighbours jealous with your cooking/BBQ smells!! We deck all out when we have a BBQ here in Australia!! LOL!!
I like cooking outside
Takes a bit longer
We have oak tree and fruit wood can also be used.
Biochar. Will absorb the liquid fertilizer you make and will release it slowly
Wood ash makes soil more alkaline. Arizona soils are very alkaline so your soil needs to be tested before you use wood ash.
Love watching your channel!!! My garden is on hold for the time being. I have two horses and I am letting as much Bermuda grass grow as possible to feed them. Price of Bermuda grass hay has gone up over $10 a bale to over $26.00 and will going up even more. So for me grass is a better economical choice. Your lime tree is growing so well and healthy. I had a beautiful, small, young moringa tree growing in a pot until those big winds came and pulled it out. I'm trying to save it and had to cut it down halfway. New leaves are coming up, but the stem seems to be dying back so my fingers are crossed. Would love some grilling recipes!
Remember that mulberry tree will lose its leaves during the winter, it will not be dead!
I take the bones and actually boil them and utilize the brewed water as it leaches out of the bones. Then I grind the bones after they have dried and add them to my compost pile. I Love this time of year and excited to see how things grow. I am definitely excited to see how your garden grows. Just a great adventure and life choice.
The utility company here is warning that gas for heating will be up to 60% more than last winter. We'll be utilizing alternative cooking and heating methods as well.
I’m going to experiment with making bone meal too. I’m going to boil them roast the bones.
I love cooking gumbo in my turkey fryer pot and fried foods in my deep fryer outside. Your garden is looking great.
