    I think what you're seeing is normal for that reverted Thai Sunrise. Costa Farms actually sells the Golden Goddess in the US, which is that exact plant … a reverted Thai Sunrise. They are quite splotchy. From a distance they look similar to a Moonlight, or upright Lemon Lime, but up close they definitely have a splotchy variegation to them.That's the best way to describe it I can come up with. Also, they can trail … which is what yours is trying to do. Mine is the same way. It's absolutely wild and I love it!

    also. my thai sunrise. when I stuck him in the grow tent, I was able to cut him in half and then 4 new growth point popped put. 3 out of 4 had good stable variegation. Good luck either way 😉🤪

    Omg kaylee I totally didn’t know you were going to talk about the Varigated Thai sunrise you are so correct mine did the same first it died back down and now has literally came back but looks like a a mini bush bonsai ahhaha

    So I had to severely sun stress my Thai sunrise, but when I did the variegation came back! Granted, the solid yellow leaves all burnt off… but I put hormone on the remaining leaf nodes to regrow them… if you get really desperate like me let me know if it works for you too. 😅

    Just so you know, I have an all green philodendron domesticum growing outside year-round near San Francisco. It never gets below freezing, but it can be 5°C occasionally on the coldest nights. It has no problem. It’s getting big.

    You should cut the top off your Philodendron Domesticum, sell one, keep the other and switch out your personal plant that have too yellow leaves 😁

    It's a mojito Tai sunrise! Mottled green on green speckle like a Tai constellation 🙂 he's pretty cool! And I love all the surprises! Funny how often you lose and forget plants haha

    From my experience with Thai Sunrise, the green on green (or yellow on yellow, depending on light) mottled-like variegation is a key identification of a Thai Sunrise and completely normal. Even without the lemon yellow inside and green margin, they are all still Thais. It's how people can ID them apart from Golden Goddess/Upright Lemon Lime even without the dark green.

    I bought a Thai Sunrise early in my plant journey, all the leaves with the dark green margin fell off. For so long I was convinced the seller pulled off a really good scam, that I just had a GG with reversion, since the green never came back (it's been 2 years!). That was until I got it in better light and noticed the mottling!

    So I propagated a variegated SOH and the new little plant has one string that reverted back to green half way down the sting 🤷‍♀️ its in the same very sunny window the mother plant is in for years and have never had it revert at all. Can it revert just from the stress of propagation?

    The reverted Thai sunrise is just a golden goddess, the Thai is much harder to keep. The yellow happens so quickly. Lol

    HI Kaylee. If I had that "Thai Variegated" Considering the root mass, I would put him in a Kokadama ball of moss mixed with Japanese pumice. Then I would hang him upside down! I would definitely chop the top off first, for propagation. Something to consider. 😊

    LOL it sounds like you're trying very very hard not to sound angry and uppity in this video. It's an improvement, but it doesn't help that you're constantly rolling your eyes. I woke up to one of your videos and I thought I was going to the principal's office. You gave me a freaking nightmare.
