Adenium Obesum and Adenium Arabicum are the two of the most popular species of desert rose. While arabicums have a stout caudex with multi stems coming off the caudex, obesum has a relatively smaller caudex with a central stem and branches arising from this central stem. Obesum is heavily hybridized while the arabicum is tough to hybridize.
