  1. Wow! Nice tractor!! So sorry to see how dry your property is! Thanks for sharing the new seed company. Love the scriptures as well!

  3. Just wanted to say hi. We live about 30 minutes outside of Waco. Just started putting in our fall garden. I was feeling very frustrated looking at my garden the other day because While I had managed to keep most of it alive, it really hasn’t produced much with the heat and lack of rain. This morning I went out and everything seemed to be flowering again and my pepper plants are loaded with tons of pepper starts Yay! We are all praying for rain here. When everyone got 5-7 inches of rain we got 1 1/2 inches. The Waco Wetlands are completely dry.

  4. Hey 😊

  5. Hey Jilly – love your new toy – uh, I mean piece of equipment!!! It will surely make quick work with your clearing and shaping of the new permaculture areas. PLEASE be careful in the heat – I just got out this week and re-conditioned the garden by hand and thought I would drop as it is also in the high ninetys here 60 miles north of the MS gulf coast. But I was glad when I finished – took 2 separate days. I was not sure about planting purple top turnips – is it time yet? Also am holding off on the spinach – what about mustard? Can't wait to follow you on the fall garden episodes. Take care.

  6. That plant looks like Purslane.. Its edible… But it can be a menace as it takes over and never dies … Comes back each year… Chickens love it also … Smile… Ninette Bird- The Caribbean Wife.

  7. Found you today; binge-watching your vids!! I am west of OKC & so very similar except for red clay with sand (on a hill). You're my new HERO

  8. Hey girl, just found ya… I’m in zone 8 also, I live out by Canyon Lake in the hill country and am…. 1. Looking for a organic non gmo seed source and another Texan in zone 8 to see what we can plant an make work in the hot humid weather… I just had to replant onions, Brussels sprout seeds because it’s been hotter than hell up untill two weeks ago when the rain came…. Lordy!, blessings from the hill country

  9. Since its now winter, you might want to check out some of these seed companies as well, had good luck with all of these (in Tarrant County):
