Just a quick update on my composting with the compost tumbler. Stopped putting stuff in my LifeTime compost tumbler a few weeks ago and it is breaking down very nicely and probably only a month or so till I have usable compost. It isn’t really hot but generates enough heat for a quick bacterial compost. Not the 50c or so that you get in a large bacterial compost heap The compost tumbler is turned every few days to keep the process going. It is working quite nicely and very pleased so far.

  1. Looks like you will have some great compost in no time. I find it hard to try that way. most of my scraps went into the beds to feed worm in place. Then this winter we had to save them for the pigs at my daughters. But I need to try this way for the tea someday. Thanks for sharing how easy it was. Best wishes to you too. E
