  1. Im just curious, do you over winter your vines, or do plant seeds each season?
I know absolutely nothing about growing watermelons, but I do have 1 melon growing and a possible.
    Thanks for sharing.

  2. I grow the same way with really tight spacing it always seems to work well for me. I think there are a lot of benefits to intensive planting as well.

  3. I'm hoping I catch some of those delicious yellow varieties you've shown this year. Of course seems like everyone is out of stock for every seed lol. I learn so much watching your videos

  4. Thank you so much for showing us your ideas as you are working it out. It is so helpful to see what other people are trying! Here on our property, if we did that same thing, the Johnson grass would be 5 feet tall in a month and shading them out on the side without fabric. đŸ€Ș Do you have any trouble with the black fabric heating up too hot for the plants? I am having to put shade cloth over my squash and zucchini planted in bags out on the Bermuda grass lawn every afternoon (without any landscape fabric) because they wilt every day. lol

  5. Though I do have to water. I am going to try your method next growing season. I am going to prepare the area over the winter for this. Collecting all things I need now though.
