Out of curiosity, how long does it take you to build the initial house in the software? Is it a huge time commitment or are there like premade drag and drop ish kind of home designs to help speed the process along?
Splendidly to see Woodprix have new plans which helped me save some money and energy for this construction.
hell no to the bushes by the hot tub… mosquito hell and nightmare to clean the hottub. Always leave area around hot tub freeeee

I do not like the look of patio but love trex style decks. But I only see patio on all landscaping projects. We need to get our backyard done (including removing the old deck). Wondering why decks aren’t popular?

What about a 2-4 person hot tub? I’m thinking we will build a screen fence around it because both sides of our yard are not private, we have privacy spots in the yard, but not all of it. We are blessed to have almost 3/4 of an acre in a subdivision. So we are happy with the maintenance of the yard. We actually want less grass, more plants a vegie herb gardens and a small swimming pool, salt water type.

I live in Ontario Canada. I have a nasty messy backyard with a hot tub. The previous owner did nit care for the lawn which is quite moist and a bit acid. There’s brick pavement front back and side. It’s quite ugly. Could I send you pictures and ask for some advise please. We need help.

I love this plan. I am going to remove an old wood front deck. My plan includes a concrete double drive then curving to incorporate colored stamped patio along front of house. Instead of gas fire pit, I will have to use propane fire table. The landscaping is old and will do tear out and refresh with new. Your plan gives me ideas for my area. Thank you for this video, love it!!
Love your videos. Would love to see one on dealing with a front door facing the side. We are about to replace old deck. It wraps around from the front to back, of a raised ranch.
Odd front door faces the south while house faces west and the long driveway that curves around to back of house garage.
My dilemma is should the entry stairs line up with the front (side placed) door. (No archetectural interest just door with hip roof)
Choosing between stairs heading from front & curving path toward driveway OR stairs heading straight off s side toward driveway. I may have the stairs all along in an L shape around whole 8 x 12' entry area with some kind of stones/patio below..🤷♀️ Would appreciate any thoughts or standard 'rules of thumb' advise you can offer. Thanks🙂
Really nice. I'd love to see something for daughter's new 500sq foot L shaped house in a windswept, slight hill, in NE location (Atlantic in view) on a rural lot.
