Autumn is well and truly here and there is plenty in the garden to harvest. In this video we look at vegetables we can harvest in the mid autumn October Garden!
Welcome to the No Dig Norfolk Gardener and our no dig/no till garden where we grow vegetables. We garden in zone 9a. Although we grow our veg from our back garden it is very much set up like allotment gardening UK – allotment life. Our passion is vegetable gardening, bigger harvests and no dig gardening. You will see how growing your own food is so easy.
We had a good harvest during the summer and autumn is looking like it will be a glut of harvests too! There will be different vegetables to harvest but no less tasty.

Lovely healthy plants, pro tip on the broadbeans: they have to take on double their volume of water before they can germinate, soaking overnight in clean water before sowing improves germination.

You are so so lucky to grow at home, I sowed carrots in 2 30ltr tubs in my poly tunnel a couple of months ago, rats got in and ate the lot, they have also been in one of the beds outside and cleared most of those. I have some growing at home which will hopefully be okay! I've not done many parsnips, but pulled 2 so far, OMG, they are huge, Gladiator. Interested to see how your red cabbage is coming on, I think I sowed a week after you guys! Take care x
