Planting & Harvesting Food Crops In The Backyard Food Forest Garden!
Hello friends! Join me in the backyard food forest garden as we go about planting, harvesting, as well as updating you on some of the things we got growing on around here. Thanks for watching!
I picked up some of the tree collard seeds from you last year! All I can say is “WOW”. My plants are huge and abundant! Looking forward to seeing if they survive the winter.
So glad you have this channel! Just come across it..Very interesting and informative! I will look for your other videos also. You have a blessing in. this work..and can tell you enjoy it also! Not everybody has a MatildaJean for a partner. lol I'll bet her immune system is good also! Thank you! 🙂
Great reminder and encouraging video! 👍 Got my garlic purchased yesterday and going to get it in the dirt tomorrow. I'll be trying "Elephant garlic" for the first time in this garden along with an organic soft neck variety that was available at "Ole Wally World". Question, what was the name of that beautiful and abundant fruit at the end of the video? I thought it was passion fruit until I saw the tree it was hanging from. 😅 Thanks again for the great reminder and God bless.
Already got my garlic in the ground, it’s one of the few plants I don’t have to protect from the deer. Forgot to cover my red Russian kale one evening, the deer loved them ! They also ate my neighbors rhubarb to the ground ! 😜
I have a question, (and I enjoy your music uploads btw)
How do you deal with perennials in raised beds? Do they come back just like in ground? I am a brand new, and I mean brand new gardener. I can't even claim that I am a gardener yet. The most I have planted is arugula in a fabric pot, but that is a start. I would LOVE collard trees. I pretty much have to use raised beds or pots for the time being, and I mostly want to grow greens, herbs and flowers.
I so enjoyed in this vid, thank you so much. There is something magical in producing your own food and eventhough I can't do the same, I enjoy watching the results of work of those who can.
I love your videos. You explain things well and have many great ideas. They’re also an inspiration and a roadmap for smaller channels like myself to want to continue and create better content. Thanks again OMG

You had a video about growing seeds in sand, does that include romaine and spinach? If not, what’s the best way to grow romaine & spinach from seed?
Glad your back…👍
