Super quick and easy hearty meal for you and your family for cool nights. This broccoli hamburger cheddar chowder is fulfilling and sure to please your family.
That looks really tasty. I sure enjoy your videos. I'm another North Texan from Reno. I look forward to seeing you each morning you're here. God bless you all.
Just checked the radar. Looks like you're still getting some rain. I'm feeling for the folks in the cowboy gathering trail ride heading to Fort Worth. They're out there in it. 🤠 My Mom will love this chowder! I will make it for her next week. Thanks for sharing.
I am really impressed with that recipe. I didn't start to many heads of broccoli because I thought they might turn bad. I don't really like to freeze much because of threats of power outages. I would share with my sister, but I'm the cook in the family, so she wouldn't want a lot either. This recipe looks like a real winner, and a great way to use broccoli. I would have never thought that up. Thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to more upcoming video's with hamburger recipes. I hope there are more using garden veggies. That is very helpful. God bless you Jill. 🙏❤
Love all the hearty meal's. Have you ever pressure pot a brisket before? When I was growing up we ate quite a bit of hamburger helper meal's too. But every once in awhile we'd have brisket out of the pressure cooker and potatoes and onions and make sandwiches with the leftovers 😋 I used to love Dorito Chicken made with Rotel and Velveeta with a little bit of extra onions. But for some reason my stomach doesn't like Doritos anymore 🤷 my mouth likes them but my stomach say's nope. Of course the chip's would be soft from absorbing the juice's so maybe I should try it again
Over here on the other side of the state, we had rain overnight. It has been cold, damp and windy here most of the day. We are under a freeze warning for tonight with 28° the predicted low. That soup looks so good ☺️. I will be making that later this week. Y'all stay safe 🙏
Yummm!! This looks great! Thank you Ms Jill for the recipe! I’ll be fixing this as soon as I can get some of that cheese soup. I have everything else! Glad to see you got some rain. We are finally getting some up here in Arkansas. It’s been so dry! Have a great evening. God bless you guys!
Yum, cheeseburger soup, it is so comforting! 👍🏻🍁 Loving this series Jilly. A good friend back home and I got together one afternoon and cooked soups and stews to celebrate the arrival of Fall. Good memories. Front hit late last night with straight line winds like a freight train. Brought us up out of bed! Left some of NW Houston without power, over 100,000. All is well here and it is in the 60's! Tiny amount of rain though, darn it. 😞
Morning blessings Ms. Jill! I love your recipe. I’m going to try it using dried ground beef, broccoli, potatoes, peppers and onions from my pantry. I could go as far as to use my powdered milk and cheese too. This is a great recipe to keep handy for rotating dried pantry item. Thank you for thinking of this. Sending you hugs and much love from east Texas.🥰
Yum now I am hungry. Would love if Greg would be willing to share his Cheeseburger Macaroni Recipe. I turned my stuffed bell pepper into a skillet meal. After browning the hab., and onion and bell peppers diced.. Drain add can diced tomatoes,sm can tomato sauce. Rinse the cans and 3/4c rice approx. salt and pepper and 1/2 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes. Bring to boil turn to simmer cover col til rice is done.

We need some rain in KY. Our grass is brown but our trees are beautiful.
Looks yummy. Our rain is just about to start
I’m in Austin. I think you got the majority of the rain. The soup looks wonderful! Thank you!

Thanks. What a great idea! You crack me up. All it takes for a great mood in Texas is to have it raining and cool at the same time! LOL

Yep. When the weather turns cold in Texas we make good comfort foods. I love potato soup.
I have got to make that. Looks so delicious.
Yum!! Thanks for that😁
