When I move my Mandevilla indoors for the winter, does it go BY a window, IN a full sun window, or does it matter? Thank you for the video BTW
In all these videos I watched about this they tell you different things some say keep it in the basement. I keep mine in filtered light. I keep mine in a big pot right on the fireplace and the window is directly across from it so it does get some light. I think it depends whether or not you're cutting it down to the dirt or you're leaving some green on it. If you're leaving green I think filtered light is the best.

So if you have a big one like I have in the winter time when I bring it in I should cut it back cut all the blooms off of it and then when summer comes take it back outside so I can grow more blooms

What happens if you don't loosen the roots and plant it like that?
Thank you Thank you Thank you, because I didn't want to let them go..lol
Wondering if mine would survive winter if I just bring it in as is and let it grow in a sunlit window. It's a really large plant.
Thank you for this information!
👌
Thanks, you’ve been a big help
Thank you, very good explanation and to the point not like other sites that lose it with too many unimportant details. Finally a reasonable explanation and demonstration of how to handle this baby. I'd hate to lose it in fall so I will try to make it adjust to indoor conditions till spring.

Hi there, most helpful info! I have an issue, I'm hoping you can shine light on. I'm in Canada, (southern Ontario) and want to bring 2 plants (red and white) intertwined that were planted in the ground. I'd like to save them for my father-in-law, but I'm not sure if digging them up and repotting and bring indoors is the way to go. Any help would be appreciated.
Oh ok well they were dropping leaves and it's what I assumed. So guess I'll trim them both. Thanks. Mine get mad get fungus or spots here and there and so I sprayed the leaves now I'll trim it. Appreciate your help and doing this right. It's crazy how little you can find out on these.
Mine is huge growing in a pot with a large tomato vine holder. I’ve brought it inside for the winter and haven’t trimmed it. It is growing like crazy. I don’t want to trim it but should I ? What’s the point if it’s growing so well ? Thank you
We bought 2 pots with wonderful mandevillas right yesterday! I’m so sorry to know that maybe I should put them inside and trim them! We’re in Fort Worth – Texas, zone 8a. The winter is not extremely cold all the time, but there are some frost days, and it’s also windy. So can them resist outside, or really better put them inside and trim them?

To be honest, this was not helpful at all. Gardeners do not leave their plants in the same pot in which they came from the nursery. We either put them in a larger pot out doors or in the landscape/ground. Now, if you made a video showing how to transplant that mandevilla from a large outdoor pot to a smaller pot that you can bring in the house, or how to transplant that mandevilla from the garden soil into a smaller pot, that would be helpful. This video simply shows you how to transplant from a landscaper’s pot to one of your own and how to prune it.
Great video 📹 👍 👏. Tyler Council you've made my day 😀 💐 🌹 🌸 I got one on the clearance plant mama's 🪴 can't resist section today.. I'm in 8b high desert 🏜 of Southern California. It freezes here but not for long. I would appreciate any advice or more videos.. more videos. 🙏
