My secret to knowing if my plants are overwatered 👉 https://youtu.be/MTKhBCHrHGE
Regarding consistent humidity, what about placing your pot on a tray filled with pebbles and water? I have my humidity-loving plants in the bathroom between the shower and the window, but elsewhere in the house I have to stick with low-humidity plants, because the air is so dry, especially in the winter.
Is making my pothos climb the wall instead, will do the same ?
Love your video's a lot… But all my planets love being misted… But i dont mist the top side of the leave… I do the stam and the underside of the leaves early in the morning…. As it would be in the jungle 🤭🤭and only filtered water… 🙋🏼♀️
👍
Krotons and I don't get along. I killed the handfuls I got from funerals for many years before my adventure into this hobby. Now that I know what I'm doing, I've been scarred and just have zero desire to get more now.
If you buy a plant from Lowes keep your receipt and they will refund you for a plant gone bad within a years time.
Had a split leaf philodendron for 10 years and while it never took off, it didn’t look unhealthy. After installing a tall moss pole and putting it out on my enclosed porch for the summer, I eventually noticed that the amount of leaves exploded. Lesson learned.
I literally have bought 8 new plants this week… and hadn't even noticed 😅 I might have a problem. In 2 days, I have bought 2 "dumb canes", 3 arrowheads, a hosta that I've decided to try to keep alive, a rubber tree, and another monstera because I felt bad for it 😅
I got a golden green pathos and not watering too much or too little but leaves turn yellow and fall off. Plus giving plenty of light What’s going on?
Thank you!!!
Thank you for sharing, I love your videos ❤❤
Plant star of YouTube. love your info , I've watched hundreds of plant videos none as good as your in depth care guides .(where plant is from ,what it likes ,and thinking about plant placement) .every home is different .I only bottom water now ,it's made my plants healthier this is better for people who over watered like me,I must add I like to see the plant growing in wild and there aren't many videos out there for many of my plants
I often purchase the clearance plants, is like rescuing them. I will clean, Clío, and feed them and just watch them come back to normal size. I love your videos, and your beautyfull plants.
From North Carolina USA thank you so much for your videos. They are so helpful!! Your accent is also so nice to listen to. You have also solidified why I will never buy another calathea!!
I have been using perlite for years on my houseplants.
That video was so useful! Thanks 😁🔆💖
I have same problem with my calathea maui queen when you said crouton plants, great videos and advice I always enjoy and learn from you,big big thanks 🙏
thank you for the education!
Why avoid a plant that are heavily root bound? I have plants that are like that. Should they be repotted in a bigger container?
Me : think I'll try a live plant in my place
Me (after this video) : all those bugs!!! change of plans
What about if instead of letting the plant "creep up", you let it drop down off something? Does that have the same effect? 🤔
