  1. I think the kind of corn you grew was flint so you may want to look into a dent or flour variety (or Sweet ), Southern Exposure Seed Exchange has a nice growing guide to help choose.

  2. In New Brunswick, Canada, we're having a ridiculously hot September. We're having July and early August weather in the middle of September! Usually, we're getting into sweater weather by now, at least in the mornings and evenings. Nope, no need for sweaters yet, but it's certainly been a benefit having really nice growing weather.

  3. I feal your pain on the tomatoes. This is my 32 year gardening and out of 8 Indeterminate plants I had less than 2 dozen tomatoes. One plant was over 8 feet tall and I got 2 from it. The heat kept knocking off the blossoms. Same story with my spring planted beans. Out of 2 twenty foot rows I had a handful. My late beans are little producers though. They have made up for the spring beans plus some. Great video as always! Oh my tomatoes were Mortgage Lifters and Aunt Ruby's German Green.

  4. If the tomatoes don't blush or ripen before the frost, you can store them in boxes, single-layer in a cold dark place indoors and they will continue to ripen. I usually just make green tomato salsa verde but I've heard from people that store them in boxes that they end up with fresh tomatoes through Thanksgiving in your zone or February in mine (7b/8a line). Just don't forget to check on them every few days or you might find a box of mushy gross tomato mess lol.

  5. Hi Bre <3 I love watching your videos, but I wonder if you would think about more shots that are on a tripod, versus handheld. I have a hard time watching some of the handheld shots, due to motion sickness. I can't wait for your chicken video!

  6. I just descoverd you last night! Both fitness model AND gardener!! Huge fan allready! Let me know if you ever come to Mallorca, Spain or Norway! Starting watching now! 💚💣💯🙌😍😁
