I think that the plant you didn't know the name of is a Pedilanthus Macrocarpus "Lady Slipper". Your home and the landscape is looking so beautiful.
How on earth does your husband know how to do everything?? Lol!!

Hi Hannah, I'm here in Papua New Guinea for another two months. Big God, small world thing, I was scrolling through YouTube wishing for a video that was worth watching. At least a video to help me dream about the future. This one caught my attention because our home is in McNeal, AZ and before we left two years ago it was my goal to do landscaping. I showed my hubby your video and then I discovered your in Elfrida. π² We're neighbors! Thank You for the landscape ideas. I want to do something similar, but because I have a chocolate brown house, I want to plant the yellow flowers you see in parking lots like Lowes in Sierra Vista. Don't know what they are called.

Hi from SΓ£o Paulo, Brazil. Be careful with Bougainville near the house. It has strong and longe roots.
My mother planted it Just like tou dos, near the porch of the house and ended up having the floor all raised to the living room because the roots spread towards the house. If you like the splash of color, try planting Bougainville in a very large pot.
Congrats: your home is awsome!

I can't believe how good your grass looks. It wasn't that long ago that you put the seed down! Nice job!
I from Pennsylvania, my favorite thing to plant is peonys
Hi Hannah! I'm from Anaheim,CA. What I see the most around this area are the Plumeria trees & desert plants. Your landscape is looking Amazing. You guys are doing a Fabulous job. πππ
Australia, we have deserts in central Australia but the cities are on the coastline near the water. I like your plants but I wouldn't plant boganvillia, it deceptively has pretty pink flowers but has the most horrible thorns which make then difficult to maintain.
You all worked so hard in that hot sun…I was getting thirsty watching. Looks very nice!
Absolutely loving your home hannah should be proud guys.πβπΌππΌπ―
They say don't water plants in the heat of sun cus it burns them wet, to water on the evenings when its cooler.βπΌππΌπ―
Iβm in AZ too! What was the name of the bushes you have in the back?
For just a few minutes, there was a really cute wooden bench on the back porch – where did it go? Your boys are so sweet! The curbing really sets off your plants – great idea to have it done on the front as well!
Cape Town South Africa..
look amazing..all your hard work pays off
Iβm from a small town, Wilsondale, West Virginia. My favorite plants are hostas and roses! Your home is beautiful! You have a hard working husband also, I love the way he helps you in projects! I just recently found you on YouTube and Iβm watching your videos and love the transformation and decor! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
I am so sorry that this happened to you. The pain in your voice was obvious and my heart hurt for you. You both work so very hard on your home and property and it is beautiful. Thank you for all the inspiration xxx

I live in Iowa and I LOVE peonies. They are are spring bloom but you canβt plant them close to the house because they attract ants. We just moved into our dream home a month ago and havenβt even started working on the outside area outside of mowing lol. We still have boxes in every room. We get a little more done each weekend. More things hung, but then we also being more items over from our old houses.
l πππΌππβ₯οΈπ seeing a family,,like yours,,Gods way…..

Iβm from North Carolina and itβs a place where many things can grow
Hi! The best ground covers here in North Carolina are chocolate ajuga and pachysandra and monkey grass or Liriope. We have all 3 in the front yard and just ajuga and the liriope in the back where that is very low maintenance. Pachysandra has to be chopped by the end of April, so it will bloom with yellow or white tiny flowers in summer and autumn here. Ajuga blooms in spring with a violet blue flowers and the fragrance is a bit cocoa. You can walk on it and it will pop back up. Eventually we wonβt have to buy mulch for the beds that have ajuga, it grows about 12β tall or so and 18β to 2β wide. It tends to spread in a circular pattern which is so beautiful! Our beautiful huge oak trees and hickory trees, cedars and 2 Natchez crepe myrtles that was here before I moved here, the wax myrtles, some arborvitae, Pine trees, 1 Italian cypress, other hardwoods were here too. We planted roses knock out in every color they put out, lol. Love them. We put in azaleas, camellias, wisteria vines, rosemary, Japanese maples, all varieties, evergreen bushes and some blue silver kind of cypress trees for blocking views, privacy and scent, they smell so nice! My fave are the 3 roses pretty medium pink that their grandmother plant was from my Aunts home, I transplanted cuttings for 20 plus years to every home I lived in. Iβm hoping to get 2 more of the biggest one this Spring! My favorite trees are the nice large oak in the front yard, the October glory maple in front and the 2 Saucer magnolias out back that are blooming now! So pretty! I love what you planted! Looks great in a dessert garden! I would like 1 more saucer magnolia for in the back and more Japanese maples and more evergreens, then itβs just get more and more chocolate ajuga. I love this ground cover the very best! π
Hola!!! I live in Tucson area too, I enjoyed watching your video, I personally don't like desert plants, I planted rosebushes instead and citrus trees, peach and nectarines
Very very very pretty!!! The plants looks nice
Beautiful! You make it look so easy.
watching from northern Italy. I love desert plants but the winter here is mostly cool with some occasional freezing so it's not ideal but the summers are really hot so I usually have my cacti covered for the winter. I have oleanders and palms, Mediterranean pines and olive trees in my garden

Nice video ππ» love how the house is coming along
I love how your boys are always right there willing to help and taking up everything they are going to know how to do everything
