Wat Puth Mondul Kampuchea is located in Dei Edth Commune, Kien Svay District, Kandal Province, approximately 27 kilometers from Phnom Penh on National Road No. 1, covering an area of 107 hectares, with four major resorts: first, Prasot Park; Enlightenment Park, 3rd Preaching Park and 4th Parinibbana Park. The Cambodian Buddhist Center was built in 1996 with financial support from both local and foreign Buddhists, also known as the Buddhist Mission, which was built to commemorate the Buddhist temples. What is planned and built in this Buddhist center is not only to serve the field of Buddhism, but also to serve the culture, civilization and traditions of our Khmer nation, and in the future, there will be plans to build housing for the elderly. Who have no hope to nurture and take care of them and let them observe the precepts and listen to the Buddha’s advice for the rest of their lives. The Buddhist Center plans to cooperate with Buddhist developers or associations with the same goal of developing Buddhism to prepare the area for a Pali school from the first grade to the last grade.
