Today, we’re planting annual flowers in containers to prepare for a pre-prom party in the potager garden. Since I’m gravitating to pink hues for my container gardens, I’m potting up some beautiful gaura, a mandevilla vine, geraniums, lemongrass, superwave petunias ‘Limoncello’, euphoria, and a gorgeous sweet potato vine in shades of pink and white while creating lots of texture and dimension. Wait until you see these summer garden ideas that will add lots of seasonal color and interest to an outdoor living space.

I never thought to use nursery pots in the bottom of a planter! I usually use twigs and garden debris. I’ll have to try it!
Those pots are really rough. I would invest my money on good pots rather than so many plants (too many plants in each container. Gaura gets 2 feet across. Also why didn’t she fill the pots in place so you wouldn’t have to carry them? I also don’t understand why everything is pushed to the sides. That’s not a good concept in interior design or the garden design. You don’t want everything pushed up against the walls. Also I need to Google self-taught master gardener….Sounds like an oxymoron.
