  1. In the spirit of the parent's/parents' comment, when you say (ex) "He ate dinner with Aaron and I," it should be "Aaron and me." When you use a plural pair in a prepositional phrase (commonly at the end of a sentence), it should be "me," not I. To check yourself just leave out the other person in the phrase. You wouldn't say "He ate dinner with I," you'd say "with me." So sorry, elementary teacher here, and I get itchy fingers when someone does that!

  2. I read that if you plant daffodil’s with your other bulbs that they are more likely to be left alone. Something about the smell of the daffodil’s. I did this last year and it worked for me. It was quite the show of tulips and daffodil’s and then Iris and gladiolus’s later!

  3. I always enjoy your recap videos. Laura, I'm not sure I understood correctly, but do you have naturally curly hair? I just learned this last year that my wild hair can have lovely curls using the right products & care routine. If you want to explore that route, there's lots of info on line.

  4. People who have straight hair, almost always want a wave or curl to the hair. Having lived with curly hair, gone to bed with damp hair, and woken up with hair from another planet, I understand completely the hair issue. Cut mine short many years ago, and then it pretty much doesn’t matter, with a hat, what it looks like. When you garden in heat, in the South, every day, hair goes on the back burner.

  5. To the question about GMO wheat, and GMO seeds in general, GMO seeds are not sold in the US. I don't think it's because it's illegal, but more because they aren't available… yet. I could be wrong, but that's my understanding. ~ Lisa
P.S. Aaron, I am a closet grammar grump, too. My pet peeves are: between you and I (it's me here, not I), and "these are Laura and I's favorite." It's "these are Laura's and my favorite." There are many more, including "where are you AT?" It's "where are you?" Obviously, I'm showing my age by revealing that I lived in a time when grammar was actually taught in the schools. So be it.

  6. Peoples audacity, and your grace to them is precious. Eat the shit fruit! Or don’t! 😂🎉

  7. It was sad to see the Proud Berry get pulled:) But good garden lesson! it's okay to part with a plant or garden design that doesn't work! Funny you have to deal with your plant guilt and ours:)

  8. I hope the squirrels aren’t Western ground squirrels…they are deadly!!!! to an orchard…!!!!!! We had them in our orchard and they could strip fruit of a tree in nothing flat..If you have uncultivated ground nearby, they build large underground colonies then run back and forth into your orchard….and are difficult to get rid of once established…..They are easy to trap with a hav-a-heart…but then you have to relocate them….

  9. GMOs are largely misunderstood. Your idea Laura about comparing a modern “bred” wheat vs an heirloom “ancient” wheat is a great idea. Often GMOs are developed to increase yield and nutrients. Cross breeding has developed so many options that make inedible “ancient” foods and created our common produce available today. Rice is a great example of how GMOs have brought sage and nutritious crops to prevent starvation in some communities.

  10. I love you'll regardless of grammar, clothes, mowing. hair, shoes etc etc etc. I really appreciate what you'll do. Keeps me sane lol.

  11. That parent comment was so silly and uncalled for. It's a garden show and a very good one not a grammar class. Go to a Grammer channel instead

  12. Good team? You make an AWESOME TEAM!!! I often think about your team dynamics and it mingling with home life.
It is a great example of everything good in my books. I know there are good days and bad days like every body else. Lots of compromising and agreeing to disagree and go on about your day for the greater good. Just have fun!

  13. I’m at the beginning of the video but I have to tell you you don’t ever ever have to explain yourself to the people who subscribe I love everything that you do. It is your space and we gather inspiration from everything you do yes it is sad when a plant needs to be torn out but as you have told us and have taught me, things can be replanted. Your vision can only get there with sacrifices. Laura, although you were such a huge influencer you never need to apologize for anything.❤️

  14. bees live in tree hollows in the wild and can travel 5 kms. if someone claims to produce organic honey consider that their hives need to be in the middle of a 5kms circle that is all organic. not many can claim that…

  15. I just love you guys so much! So upset that I missed out on the chance to meet y’all while you were in Mackinaw. Would have been a short drive being from the Detroit area.

  16. Though I like black like you do your sweatshirt & coat showcase your hair, and Wow, your ocean blue eyes are just gorgeous…just like your garden, and your family. God has blessed you and yours 👍❤️.

  17. A friend in the small town I live by, caught 13 or 14 squirrels this summer and took them a couple of miles away. Maybe that's how you all of a sudden you got yours. My cat has taken care of all of our squirrel and chipmunks in just the year we've had her.

  18. I tried to find the comment under the first video asking about plugs. Farmers Bailey is a great source for the public to buy plugs!

  19. Laura, that white shirt & camel colored jacket look beautiful on you! So used to seeing you in black but that jacket brings out your gorgeous highlights! 🤍🤍

  20. Hey Aaron, I did order a Hoselink but I looked at Giraffee as they have a 200 foot long yard. If you want to get rid of any I'll take the longest one you have.😉

  21. You all are quite diplomatic.
As a home school teacher, I routinely corrected my kids' grammar and usage.
Now that they're ADULTS, I never do; because it's bad manners and presumptuous to do that to someone.
BTW, nuc- u- lar is my key irritant.

  22. I really appreciate your discussion regarding clearing out the back garden. It is hard to remove established bushes etc., but when we bite the bullet and make changes it’s fun to see what the new plants and perspective can look like. It is your property and you get to do whatever you think is best. You’re very kind and considerate to people who are worried about it or critical. That’s why we enjoy you and Aaron and your discussions.

  23. Love the white blouse! You guys make a great team and I absolutely love the recap videos, Aaron's input and and how excited he gets about trees and Christmas lights….you compliment each other so well!🤩 Have a great week, be blessed!💞🤗💞

  24. Squirrels in my garden are not the least bit afraid of me. They'll grab a piece of fruit from one of my peach or pear trees and then sit on the fence staring at me while they eat it. A try to chase them away with an 8' bamboo pole, but they get just far enough out of my reach and continue to stare at me while munching away on my produce.
