Every morning I pick a few strawberries to snack on while I water all the other lovely plants. Love the idea of plastic ground cover to make those Bamboo behave! I look forward to seeing the outcome! 😊~Idaho~🌻🌼🌱

I am hooting for you ! I hope this bamboo behaves and doesn't come back again.😂😅 I am looking forward to seeing you create your new garden space. For future reference when I want to kill a tree root or growing tree stump. I boil water and add salt to it, then I pour it onto the stubborn root or stump. I do this a few times and it kills the root or stump. Try this for new bamboo shoots and see if it will work for you. Blessings

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR BLOOPERS!! You are just being real…and honey, at temperatures like we've all been having those cucumbers are pretty refreshing!! You can also put sand bags down on the black plastic in case you need to use it elsewhere it won't have holes or get torn. Mice do love to hide under those tarps sometimes so be on the lookout when you take it up. I'm SO PROUD of you!! Look at you growing all these vegetables!! Oh girl…seeds are additive!! I am currently in a rental and have way more than I can plant. I LOVE to share seeds with others, especially the ones you can't buy in the store. Do you have a PO box so I can send you some seeds? Or do I use the church one that you and your husband have? I love that as Christian's we get to plant seeds that have eternal dividends!! Food for the body and soul. Love you sweet sister!! Be careful and stay hydrated.
When we fertilize we are learning that we are nourishing the microbiology in the soil which in turn feeds the plants. I love using fish fertilizer to feed my soil life. The only good bamboo is when it's growing in someone else's yard. God bless you guys.

Awesome. That was so cute with the empty shovel lol. She was working so hard. I e never tried that kind of cucumber and I’ve never seen the black tomatoes either. The plant I grew from seed died. I’m in NJ so idk if it’s to late to plant another one.
I loved seeing the pile turn into a family event! That's how it should be. Sticking close and working together is going to help your family's bond so nicely! It will be tons of good memories for the kids.
I'm still not caught up on all your videos (new viewer) so idk much about the bamboo drama. But I think it'd be nice to have a bamboo patch in the corner of my yard, but it'd have to be actively contained from spreading out.

The fish fertilizer is great for tomatoes but don’t put nitrogen on beans and legumes. They make their own nitrogen 🌹🌹🌹

Many hands make light work. 😉 It takes a lot of WORK to level sand or move soil to another area.
I had used boiling hot water to kill weeds in my yard. They grew back, but after consistently doing it the weeds finally succumbed. The same rules may apply to bamboo.
Just like the chef gets special “treats”, the gardener also must enjoy all the special bites! Whenever I eat a warm cherry tomato while standing in the garden, I am 4 years old, barefoot, in my Nanny’s garden. The tomato vines surround and tower over me giving off their rich summer green perfume. Or I am 10 and Dad and I are hoeing corn, the dirt dry between my toes and the smell of rain and wet dirt foreshadows the coming rain as Mom finishes up the row with fertilizer. You are making great memories for those kids and they know what real food is and what it takes to get it to the table! Good job Mom!

It truly is pleasure to eat something you just picked in the garden! Loved the Timelapse with the family. And awesome choice on the fish fertilizer. My dad got a lot off the land to feed us and fishing was a staple. He always put the guts & stuff in the garden. It was lush and vibrant green, lots of veggies every year.
You should of sold some of the bamboo. I would love to have some. That was a great workout. I have the same fish fertilizer. Great video as always.
