    Michigan last week planted German Red… Would not recommend planting store bought garlic due to the fact some times purchased garlic has been sprayed with a growth inhibitor… Also seed garlic is harvested 7 to 10 day's later than it would have been for the table… Great show

    I bought too much garlic from the store so I've been thinking about planting some of the cloves. This is just the video I needed to see today. I think I'll try them in containers this year to see how they do. Keep making great videos!

    I can tell you what's going to happen to that poor garlic clove you planted straight into red clay, because I've done that. It will actually burn up so much energy trying to grow that the whole head of garlic will wind up no bigger than the original clove. My lack of success with root crops in the new house has put me off planting in ground for this winter. Everything is going in pots, so I have time to properly amend my soil. I have just one little pot of elephant garlic this year but I'm hopeful to get a good batch next year.

    Chesnok, Siberian and soft neck variety from grocery store. Someone stated they don’t recommend grocery store garlic. Mine did I amazing last year. Happy gardening fam🌱💯

    I do it everyear, … but my neighbor tends to walk on it when he's looking for his dog. I didn't water 'em too much in the summer which didn't help. Anyway, I need to do it agina, thanks for the reminder. So much to do before the first frost.

    I use garlic in a lot of dishes and I'm getting tired of having to purchase garlic from the store. I was actually thinking of planting some but brushed it off. You inspired me to go ahead and plant some garlic and I will be doing just that this weekend! 🧄😊

    Do you cut the green shoots at any time once they’ve grown about 5”-6” ? I’ve been told it helps the bulb growth similar to the onion bulbs – love the videos 🤙

    What type of soil mix do you recommend? My last crop did not bulb and I believe my soil was not loose enough.
