We can pick, and cook it right over the fire, followed by some s’mores!

Window boxes are amazing. Have you ever tried using a product called… Soil moist… I've only seen it sold at Lowe's in the same Department that sells Miracle-Gro fertilizer. It comes in a plastic bag and it runs around $16 since it's a polymer I guess the price went up because of the price of oil going up. I love this product it's the best invention for gardeners whether you use it in your flower boxes your hanging baskets your potted plants house plants or garden plants! If you don't know anything about it I'll explain it for some of your other viewers it's a polymer that's a crystal that absorbs 50 times its weight in water. It keeps the water in suspension inside the crystal that looks sort of like clear Jello once it's absorbed its fill of water. It doesn't make the soil soggy I'm fact it might help over waterers to keep the soil from being too wet for plants. I love it for cuttings that I have especially coleus cuttings because they have water roots and sometimes It's tricky to get them to transition to soil Roots. Also coleus hate to dry out so this gives an added benefit that once the soils absorb all the water it can the crystals absorb more and make a reservoir for the plants. It lasts for four or five years in the soil and I know from one year to the next I recycle half and half old potting soil with new and sometimes I've had it a little bit too much soil moist two partially used potting soil. The reason I know I've used a bit too much as the next time we get a heavy rain it looks like I'm growing clear chunks of Jell-O in my flower pots instead of just flowers. But it doesn't let the soil get soggy so I just take out those extra crystals all those little clear chunks of Jell-O and put them in something else but didn't get any crystals in any soil moist… It doesn't take much so that $16 bag last for a long time. It would help your window boxes hold up in the heat without needing water to soften. At the end of the summer the coleus are like 2 feet high and I can't even put my arms around them because they love the soil those crystals are in. It's one of the best inventions for gardeners who has flower boxes hanging baskets plants in pots. If you want to see how well my coleus do come to my YouTube channel I know you've already subscribed and maybe some of your subscribers would like to see my coleus cuttings that turned into numerous pots of coleus for free from a couple mother plants. So plug-in Kathleen Murphy and the word orchids coleus house plants philodendrons into your YouTube search engine and you'll find me. I am going to do a video on that and how I mix my potting soil and things I love your Channel. I like the family aspect of it and your delightful personalities.
