great video..how do you keep neighborhood cats from using it like a cat box?? we put some cement blocks in ours to take up some space so we used less soil. this is so fun to watch.
I am also making a raised bed vegetable garden in my back yard it is 35 feet long and about 3 1/2 feet wide about 3 feet deep but I am still looking for an inexpensive way to fill it with good soil
I enjoy going back and looking at you first videos once in a while. So much education you provide to the world. You are an amazing young man! Keep up the good work!
wow. look at how much you have accomplished John in 3 years plus a day! you have taught us so much in this time….can"t wait to see what you'll do next. keep on growin'!
Its hard to explain in words how thankful I am to you.First of all, that your being such a selfbelieving and curious person, to achieve a project like this! Must've been hard at time believing that this was the way to go, its a big initial cost of money and when people looked down on the idea! And second, Im very grateful, that you take your time, filming, explaining, editing and uploading, this very contributing information to the public!! Keep up the good work! Cheers from Sweden! =D
This is great! But you can have a 'normal' looking yard & produce food, too! Walnut & pecan are ideal shade trees, chestnuts, too. Hazelnuts are smaller trees. Cherry & other fruit trees are gorgeous. Blueberry, honeyberry, cranberry, wolfberry (aka gogi berry) are just a few of the edible shrub options. Some hostas are delicious. Many flowers are edible: tulip, rose, lilac, wisteria (blooms only!). Maple & birch trees give sweet sap to drink or boil into syrup. Do your reasearch first!
This is actually what I have plans to do to my yard π
but I didn't want the raised bed look, and I live on a small hill : /
so it will take a lot of soil removal for my plan
Wondered what your first video was like! Shows we all start somewhere!! Itβs truly inspiring to see how far youβve come! With passion we can all achieve soooo much!
I finally found your first video. I've been trying to watch all of them as times permits. Getting closer to that goal. Love your work and you Brother. Keep on growing.
