Hello everybody and welcome back to another video. Today I’m going to share with you a really easy design for making a zen garden ok your animal crossing New Horizon Island. I’ve been seeing a lot of questions going around about making a zen garden. So I’m here to give you the motivation and design times to create the perfect zen garden! So zen gardens. They are relaxing and peaceful. Who wouldn’t want a relaxing area for their islanders to hang out and how do you go about making a calming area on your island?
If you look at a typical real life zen garden they are typically filled with rocks, trees, and other natural elements. So I took this into consideration.
I crafted just about every rock and bamboo item I could find a diy for. I also bought the stone path. I went to bamboo island and dug up some bamboo trees to add to my garden. After that I think I had everything I needed.
I went to my middle level and terraformed a large square in the side of the 3rd level. Mine ya about 11×10 tiles, but you can make yours any size you want. Once I made this square, I climbed up to the 3rd level and made a waterfall around the perimeter of the square. Waterfalls make that relaxing white noise sound and are perfect for a zen garden. I also added the zen fence around the outside of the waterfall. This gives the walls a little bit more height and adds an extra layer of depth to your zen garden. After that, I returned to my garden area and paved it in stone. I then removed the stone path where I wanted to add my bamboo trees. After placing the bamboo trees I added in all the items I had collected. You can place these however you’d like. I had to move things around a few times before I was happy with it.
Once I was finished it turned out like this!

I see many people don't know the backstory for the bamboo doll. There is this beautiful tale and called "The tale of the bamboo cutter". Obviously it's based in Japan. There is beautiful movie adaptation, I think it's also on Netflix, which is gonna describe the story much much better than me hahah!

I have a question about the fountain bath thing, so I have enough stone to craft it but it wants me to have a shovel as well? I have like three different shovels, I have a colorful shovel, a flimsy shovel, and a outdoorsy shovel. So I’m really confused on what kind of shovel in need..
