This is July 8 (not July 7 as I stated in the video).
So much rain! My container plants which have an extensive root system, like the mints and rosemary, are loving the rain. However, everything else is on the border of drowning! I will need to clean out some saucers today.
I am so excited about the Galangal which overwintered outside and is showing signs of life. Also, my Kaffir Lime Tree…YAY!!!
Enjoy!

Donna, you should be proud of your lime…it is GORGEOUS! You really have a nice collection of plants on your deck.
I just planted some ginger the other day. Maybe you can someday do a video on growing, harvesting and using it . I love it in my green juicing drinks. Love your videos. Did you start you big kaffir lime tree from seed?
I feel your pain with the rain! Gotta love the dog stealing the show!
I use the dill flowers for my pickles, I get so much more of the dill flavor into the cucumbers when I use the flowers than I do when I use sprigs.
Great video Donna.

Your kaffir lime tree is very pretty and so healthy. What will you do this winter, will it still go into the house? I just love how mint looks in a pot. I recently bought some lemongrass seeds. I am wondering if that will take a long time to get it to the size of yours from seed. Enjoyed your update, take care!
That is one awesome garden. I planted my herbs in the raised bed this year but I should
switch to containers.
What fertilizer did you use for your kaffir lime tree? Can you recommend any brands? Also, any good tips for growing galangal? Soil, watering, fertilizer?
Thanks for your videos, they are wonderful!
I love it
