  1. Ranunculus are so hardy! Mine have been out two weeks so think, I cover them at night but we had a low of -6c one night and they were perfectly happy 😊

  2. I'll have to look for ranunculus corms (or whatever they're called) at local garden centers next year or get them ordered ahead of planting time. Although I've never grown them if I can still find some, I'd love to plant some this year. Unless you think it's too late… yes or no? Your ranunculus plants look so healthy.

  3. Yay! I planted mine yesterday. They spent the previous week outside under cover hardening off and looked so happy.

  4. 👏 I started planting mine out this week also! I'm in 6b & my last estimated frost is april 28th. My average temps have been around 65-70 with lows in the 40's but thos week were having several days where its going to he in the 40's and a low of 30. But i have frist cloth as well so I know theyll be fine! How many total did you order? I want a big, beautiful patch like Tonya @freshcutky always has, so I ordered 400! 🤞

  5. So after they sprout in the dark they should be placed under the lights? Or no? Sprouts straight outside or sprouts to light growing racks?

  6. You had the same week's interruption as me! I'm near Kewanee, IL, so we have similar weather. I moved quite a few of my cold hardy annuals to my porch and made a "greenhouse" out of my porch furniture, since the pillows are still in storage. It worked great and gave me quite a bit of extra space!

  7. I’m in Scotland and just planted half mine out in raised beds although I covered with a plastic clear cover as it’s a bit colder here at night .

  8. Exciting! I am so over the constant wind we’ve had this spring. My ranunculus are in a tunnel so they are protected but some of my hardy annuals are out in the elements. 🤞

  9. I am in zone 6 Ohio. I planted mine out on April 5 then this week it got cold again nights are low thirties. I didn’t cover them for two nights and they are fine but then it started snowing so I quick covered them. Tonight is supposed to get down 31° again. Wish I had a test plot. I’d cover one and let the other open. Ranunculus are supposed to survive 30° temps so I’d love to test it out. There leaves get hurt with frost tho. Wish I paid more attention to how long it’ was below freezing the other nights. If there is going to be 5 hours of freezing temps they say to cover. Tonight is 4 hours 🤔 don’t know if any of that helped 😂

  10. Couple of questions. 1) After pre sprouting, at what point did you put under grow lights? 2) How deep are your raised beds, with bottoms, you planted the ranuculus? 3) Can you use that for all flowers? 4) Did you water the ranuculus after planing in beds?
Thanks so much! Love your videos!!
