I sure like the idea and set up.
I found cinder block to be the most effective, natural and cheap solution in today's high lumber cost environment. I'm also not a fan of using metal, tho this method in the video was admittedly my fist choice before I thought of cinder block. after doing cinder block in my garden this year with outdoor adhesive as the bonding agent I am so glad I did it this way. Easy, cheap and effective, looks good to imo but ig that's always a subjective. You can even weather proof via paint the cinder block to make it look pretty and age better. Also cinder block has the added bonus of each one being a pot for an herb or marigold as a border . IMHO cinder block two high used as a "potted border" and retaining walls for a raised bed is the best solution there is.
