🌱Does container gardening work❓ If you’ve been contemplating gardening in containers and weren’t sure if it was a viable system of gardening, this is the video for you. 🥒I will show you the amazing results I’m experiencing with my container gardens. 🌽 I am utilizing several different types of containers. 🍆I’m using EarthBoxes, Self-Wicking Tubs, Grow Bags and even my own homemade earth boxes. 🥕 All are doing fantastic and are beginning to produce their respective crops. 🍅🍉🍏 🍐
I’ll also show you my Grow Arches that are in my Deep Mulch (Back To Eden) garden. 👀
The things planted under the Grow Arches are beginning to show a lot of promise too.👍

  1. Great video TP2! Question: I have some Earthboxes too, and I'm trying to set up a watering system. I couldn't tell how you were dripping them. Any chance you could do a video on your watering system for Earthboxes/containers? Thanks a bunch, from a subscriber.

  2. So Mr Leon also grows tomatoes in 5 gallon buckets. So I got 17 gallon ones and planted 3 tomatoes…

  3. On your grow panel arch, do you set that up and then plant or do you sow seed, wait for them to come up and then construct arch support?

  4. I got the same squash and I think Its grown bigger then I've ever seen ! I been taking pictures of how much they grow day to day and its crazy! 🙂 SO HAPPY YOUR Garden is doing so well for you! It is Beautiful!! 🙂 💚🌱

  5. I'm sold on container gardening to. I don't have any wicking tub's but I have plenty of grow bags and just harvested new potatoes from about 12 bags and was very pleased with the results.
I have a Brandywine I grew from seed and can hardly wait for a tomato sandwich from it.

  6. What a gorgeous garden. All your careful thought and planning worked out well. We plant Rattlesnake every year and it's a favorite. All of my garden is either raised beds or containers and I wouldn't have it any other way. I think all your variations will be a success. You may find certain plants prefer one type of container but the difference may be minor.
I love the cattle panel grow arches. I have 10 permanently installed above my raised beds and I'm adding another 4 shortly. We grow a lot of pole beans (snap and dried) and once you add cukes, bitter melon and squash there's never enough room.
Have you ever tried Texas Tomato Food? I use it and it seems to help the raised beds produce better. I put in good soil, structure-wise but it seemed there was no life in it and even with fertilizer the plants languished. A couple of feedings of this stuff and they took off. You've given me so many great ideas for my garden I thought I'd share one from mine. https://www.theurbanfarm.com/tetofoga.html

  7. I agree about the Tycoons. Blah. Have you tried garden gem? It’s an heirloom bred with a production variety, out of U of Florida. Pretty tasty and definitely a heavy producer.

  8. That’s a good looking garden! I always plant Celebrity and Early Girl. The Celebrity haven’t failed me yet and produce heavy yields of large good flavor tomatoes. I also planted a lot of Roma and Amish Paste this year for sauce canning. Thanks for the videos, you have given me some good ideas over the years and who in the heck keeps giving you a thumbs down? For what? Must be for the scripture at the beginning of each video? Thank you for the scripture and God bless!

  9. what do you use to feed your wicking tubs? how often do you fertilize? do you feed straight water? what kind of fertilizer do you use?

  10. While picking cherry tomatoes in sunset light, tiny black ants nailedtwo fingers!! Ouch!! Maybe containers would help keep the ants at bay. Beautiful garden you have.

  11. Just curious as to why you are running drip irrigation if you are using wicking tubs? Aren't they supposed to draw water from the bottom of the tub?

  12. How did the jambalaya okra do planted 8 per box? Which month of the year was this video made? Seems early, surprised to see it alr already starting to produce.

  13. the birds do like the tastiest ones. probably a sign that tycoon isnt worth growing as well as it produces if it taste like nothing. home grown tomatoes should be delicious!
