What wonderful friends. PLUS, they are gardeners – BONUS !!!
I know you're a gardening channel, but why do you waste so many resources on things like cut flowers? You're not a cut flower farm, and you don't sell them. A single home doesn't need that many cut flowers to have bouquets around the house, and as far as i can tell, you don't cut/arrange the extras and give them away like you do the food harvests.
Should be a great show this spring ( Lord’s will) what an awesome show of love on Dave and Katie’s part to come and help out their friends..😊 wishing you all a merry and splendid harvest. ❤🙏🏽
I do like the way your friends wear garden gloves! They seem very nice!
I have been told that daffodils are poisonous to other bulbs. Does anyone know if that is true?
Next year, choose ONE lucky viewer to come help with bulbs, too! I'd volunteer and pay for my own trip! LOL
What will be so nice ; is when the bulbs start popping up; you will think each time fondly of your friends! Can you plant several bulbs per hole? Or should each bulb have it’s own hole? I know there is a trench method; but which have you found works better?
Best of friends means free labor hahahah
What great friends to have! ❤ Can’t wait to see in Spring the bulbs blooming.
Was that Menten Tulips? Looking for the proper name. Thank you!
Love it when you plant bulbs so exciting!! Question: How do you plant other things in the same place? Especially since you planted so many, you're sure to run into bulbs when you plant in the other seasons. Also, I know a bazillion followers that would LOVE an invitation to help you plant, doesn't matter what it is, and they'd do it for free I'm sure (me included lol) 🤣
Beautiful day to garden with your friends. And Benjamin & Samantha carrying around bags of bulbs, precious memories.
Spring will be SPECTACULAR in the garden!!! Actually, ALL the seasons are gorgeous in your gardens…….but spring…….whew, that will be a sight to see!
I can't wait to see the bulbs! Any maintenance videos coming? I'm in 5B, so at this point that's all I can do (my mums and pansies are already in)
I heard that temperatures also affect bulb growth. Two weeks of <50°F before planting bulbs so they won't grow vegetatively.
Squill warning. Before planting check to see if they are invasive. They are where I live and 2 springs ago I spent time crawling around my yard digging them up.
Like "UN-hiding" Easter eggs!
Teamwork makes the dreams work! So great to have friends willing to help. Great seeing the kids out too. I love watching you plan and execute. You are so inspiring. ❤
OH MY WORD……..so much got done! When you went and picked up more bulbs from the barn…….crates and crates of bulbs…….my oh my……the earth will be singing with colorful blooms!
Now that’s what you can good friends – friends who work are hard to find. Good job everyone.
You forgot to mention your other helpers! Benjamin and Samantha Grace were hard at it, too! Here’s what I can’t wait to see— Samantha Grace toddling around with her big bro picking the flowers for her own little spring bouquet! Yep! I can see it!
Mentone tulips are such a statement of joy and happiness. Colors do that to me – they make me feel something. I can't wait for spring.
So wonderful to have friends come and help🙌🏻 The only help I have in the garden is in early season with my 5 year old grandson 💗😂
👍🏻💚💐🌷🌷🌷💐
I have recently been visiting botanical gardens around the country, and have seen fall crocus for the first time. They were very pretty. Laura, I’m curious about your thoughts on this. Would you ever plant something like this in your garden? Is this something new? I learn mostly through watching you daily. Thank you!
Friends who will get dirty and sweaty in the garden with you are true friends. Thank you , Gabe and Katy, for your help! We'll remember you in the Spring when the bulbs come up. ~ Lisa
You are so blessed to have such wonderful friends come help with the garden, especially planting bulbs. It goes so much faster and more pleasant with help.
So much fun to watch, beautiful day, and great to have such good friends. Kids were certainly have fun! Friends garden is beautiful! Need to see a you tube video of that! 🙂
Ok! This makes sense…I always see questions come through from Katie Lynn & I wondered why hers were always part of it… She is your friend!! How sweet of them to help you!!!
Yes yes yes thank the friends wowie!
Jacqueline van der Kloet
pronounce last name like Klu:'t,
I'm researching now can't believe I didn't know this Dutch lady, I'm ordering books asap 😊
I wonder if the 3000 bulbs are going to come up in the spring where they just removed the boxwood circles. That will be something to watch for.
I've got a large apple tree that produces, no joke, hundreds of apples. Will bulbs pop up in part shade? I know in early spring it won't be too much of an issue but I'm wondering about later blooming bulbs.
