  1. Get yourself 3 things. First steel wool to stuff in anyone's you find. Next corn meal and baking soda 1 cup each. Mix and put in your red dish and around the house where mouse can eat good luck. Mice will eat can't expel gas and they DIE

  2. That's so funny we just seen a mouse in our house just yesterday. lol My cats aren't doing a very good job. Even thou they are hunting it daily. It's a sneaky little devil. I am sure they will get it. Soon I hope.

  3. Living rural right in front of "the woods" and next to a "field" we had a horrid mouse problem. First order of business is find and stuff every possible hole they're accessing the house through. Go to hardware and get heavy duty steel wool (no not the kind you scrub pots with😆) and stuff it around kitchen/bathroom pipes etc and remember mice can get into the tiniest of holes. If you leave kibble for the kitties out look for a stash of that (we always found ours on a high bookshelf 🤦) and maybe figure out another way to allow kitties to free feed. Check any preps of food you already have stored if they're not in buckets or jars chances are they've been attacked by said mice. Some folks say they can chew through the buckets, I've never seen it but wouldn't surprise me. Honestly the biggest thing that helped us was shoring up the holes in our place!!

  4. Hello kaye so you have a rat problem rat poison should get rid of ur rat problem sweetheart for sure,,,, by the way ur looking well, enjoyed ur video, have a wonderful day 😏😊😀👋👋👋👋👋👋👋🇺🇲🎩

  5. Its fun being a female and living on your own until there is a mouse running loose in the house!! LOL!!

  6. Use sticky traps. I had an infestation of mice in an old house and the rodent control man who came said they were the best trap to use. I regularly catch mice with them. Mice never go away, they just return with a different season. Have a bunch of sticky traps on hand. The rodent man told me if I have one mice, I probably have 30 because their life cycle is short and they reproduce very fast.

  7. I had mice for the first time last winter. I put ALL food in plastic containers so they couldn't get in. They were coming in through the floor vent in the kitchen. I got some humane mouse traps from amazon. I put one along the cabinets by the vent where they run. The first nite I caught 4. I released them in the woods about a mile away. Then we had to go into the crawl and patch up the holes in the ductwork where they're getting in.

i don't like mice but I don't like to kill / torture them either so these work well for me. I hope you can catch them all and rehome them somewhere else. Good luck Kaye.

  8. Our farm cat passed after helping us for many years now we are getting mice😢 they are nasty. Lots of us out here are experiencing an influx of mice! But we are experiencing lots of pests in the garden as well it’s a bad season for the yuck. I hope your week goes well and the rest of the year with no mice! Blessings! Wendy🇺🇸🙏🏻🦋🐞

  9. How would a mouse get up there? just buy a oldfashioned mouse trap put on a dab of peanut butter and haul it out and burn it and the trap when you catch it. Good luck! JR

  10. Mice don't like the smell of mint…I spray it around my doors etc…I also have mint tea bags in my car. As a neighbor had a pile of crap where they could hide…

  11. lol, I am 59 next month. I can not go upstairs….. well I can but it takes a really long time. I accept it and muddle through hehe.

  12. Mouse traps for the win. I feel no shame in mousetrap/snuffing them out. I am human they are mice….. I win when and if I finally extinguish them lol…. I feel no shame, and do not have any apologies to give to those who freak out thinking you can't kill the cute little rodent… Oh yes, I can and I will lol…..

  13. I have a 200 yr old house, and I get mice. Can't really keep them out. They get in the old basement (stone foundation), and then go up the walls and get into the house. Everything I store has to go into rodent proof containers. Years ago, when I first discovered them, they were living in my laundry/food storage room, and happily munching away on anything they could get at. I live trapped them all, released them somewhere else, then had to throw out a lot of food, and wash down all the cans jars and shelves with bleach water. They actually ate a whole big bag of pasta. They must be Italian mice. I didn't know mice like pasta. Now I have to be very careful how I store what. Don't want to have to go through all that again. Took days to clean it up, and wasted a lot of food. Live and learn. Hope you get your mouse. Where there is one, there may be more. Good luck!

  14. Just wanted to say when I used the poison, the dead mice were on the floor, they were hard and dried. didn't smell. Now that fall is here, I gonna do it again. Use the glue traps to see if I have any. What gets me is when some one catches them and release them on someone elses property. My neighbor lets her dogs run at night for exercise. Then when I mow, I got dog shit in my yard. A farmer down the road from me says people drop off a litter of kittens and He doesn't like it. So we don't want your mice, cats, dogs on our property.

  15. OH BOY Kaye my life story 😟🐁🐁🐁🐁🐁🐁🐁I struggle daily with them 😭 My amazing mouse catcher senior cat went blind a few months ago😿Over time, every single thing in my pantry is finally in plastic containers or glass! I have little green 'have-a- heart' mouse traps & bait with a tiny bit of peanut butter which is fool proof 🙌I have literally caught 1-2 every night on the pantry floor for the last 2 months!!! I turned an old coop in the woods into their new mouse house! 😂I also started seeing a few droppings in a bathroom drawer & discovered a inhabited nest in a full bag of cotton balls😲I was able to relocate them to the 'Mouse House' with the help of the little traps 👍 Needless to say it's NEVER a DULL moment!

  16. We get mice coming into the house this time every year. My SO leaves the garage door open to help cool off the house in the evening. We bagged five mice this week, haven't seen any for a couple days, so maybe done for now. Was kind of heartbroken because I had to throw a bunch of food away, I keep most of my food preps in glass jars, or in totes. Just wasn't very happy throwing food away. Oh we bait the traps with cheese and peanut butter.

  17. I had a rat in my under-the-sink cabinet in Wildwood, TN. I didn't know how to get rid of the rat. I'd open the cabinet door and he would just sit there staring at me. We had a black snake that went under the kitchen stove too. Two rookie cops came out and they were more scared of the snake than I was.

  18. I miss the people from TN so badly!!! I love in Colorado now. My health is better here but I do miss the southern people so much!

  19. Im enjoying your videos and your honesty with practical problems. I was wondering about your tee shirt, do you sell them or where did you get it, I really like it

  20. The abandoned house near us was being torn down. I did see a mouse and thought nothing of it. We have 2 almost wild cats. 2 days later we were bombarded with a whole family of huge rats with babies eating thru all my herbs in the greenhouse. They ate everything except the mint.
    2 days!!!

  21. get some barn cats … will decrease the mice population
check out Appalachian Homestead ~ Patara
she has barn cats – she got 3, kittens and trained them to the barn by putting them in a pet crate at night and let out when she worked in the barn, for the first 6 weeks or so ..

Might want to consider Rain water collection … I just watch a cool guy in Arizona, he had some really reasonable ways to collect rain water … here is the youtube link for you & others to consider…

Here is Off grid with Stacy & Doug link for rainwater collection too
