How to mulch shows you how to apply mulch to your gardens and landscape. Using Proper mulching techniques you can have healthy garden beds. Your plant beds will look their best if you follow the three musts of mulching.
According to Permaculture 2-3 inches of mulch is fine. Many gardeners have way more than 2-3 inches of wood chips/mulch. Especially the small fine mulch feeds the soil and always regulates the temperature. I'm curious what your thoughts are on that?, because I have seen some of the best fruits and vegetables grown this way.
Hi john. I showed my friend Eric Bates your video. He really enjoyed it. He used to toil all summer long with mulch and mulch problems. He is doing much better with it now. Tha ks
Thank you. These are good things to know. Is it a good idea to aerate the mulch on a regular basis? Also, do plants need a bit of space between the base of the plant and the mulch?

Thanks so much!
So many people in my neighborhood love having the mulch volcano around trees on their property and surprisingly some have “professional” landscapers.

Isn't mulch defined as organic/inorganic material that you place on top of your soil? So working mulch 2 inches deep means it's nog longer mulch
you are definitely not going to be my landscaper 😂
Super helpful!! Thank you! 😄
