  1. First year for strawberries don't really produce alot.. that's what happened to mine now it's on the 2nd year and they come in like crazy.. feed them high phosphorus and potassium…. once they start flowering. Hope that helps. I've been gardening for over 30 years..

  2. Love the tour your garden is looking amazing this year your not the only one that is planting pumpkin a bit late we are doing another planting thus weekend I love that excitement of you getting your first eggs keep up the great work ๐Ÿ‘

  3. Why have I not considered growing and making my own paprika powder?! The cheap stuff you buy is hit or miss if there's any flavor!

  4. Wonderful video, your garden looks so lovely! Will you be sharing your process for pickling the okra? I tried the one in the Ball Book using cider vinegar and it didn't turn out great :/ Wondering if there's a better one out there to use.

  5. Fantastic garden! I am also having trouble with squash vine bores, and this year I'm trying BT (Bacillus Thurogenisis). I'm spraying the leaves once eggs start to appear hoping the vine bore nymphs consume the BT in some way and die before they make it to the vine, fingers are crossed it works! The only thing is to be careful when using it around butterflies.

Regarding the strawberries, I'm not too sure. I was going to recommend picking off the flowers until they are established but you mentioned they were in their second year. I would say to try a high potassium fertilizer and see what happens.

Good luck with your garden! Looking forward to future updates and beautiful sunflowers btw ๐Ÿ™‚

  6. Great video! I feel your pain. I am also struggling with small strawberries. I am resetting the bed with a new variety next spring and putting in drip irradiation.๐Ÿคž

  7. Love your videos and IG! Iโ€™m over in Manhattan, KS growing in my backyard and learn so many fun tips and ideas from you!
