    Can I use river sand in place of construction sand?
    I just saw in another UTube video that mixing sand with clay soil would give a Cement effect, it will become more harder than before….. plz clarify

    the best way should be pebble, organic matters and clay soil. 40% 30% 20%. sand makes clay soil futher more packed when watered. oxygen cant go in will result in root rot etc.

    Hi sir! Can you help me by answering my two queries:
    1. Can I add cocopeat or/and perlite with above clay+sand+compost mix?
    2.Instead of vermicompost can I add organic manure(because it is easily available)?

    I will mainly use this mix for my indoor plant.

    My soil is hard like stones
    When I put water , it becomes loose but after drying it again become stone or big granules
    Is this method will work or any other method kindly suggest

    Adding materials such as organic compost, pine bark, composted leaves and gypsum to heavy clay can improve its structure and help eliminate drainage and compaction problems. Avoid adding sand or peat moss to clay; they can make those problems worse.
