I’m planting a huge butterfly garden by expanding my existing garden to include even more space in my backyard. I want to take advantage of every inch of full sun spaces to get even more milkweed growing for Monarch butterflies. My plans are in the works and I’m ready to get started. See my new design layout for my new expanded milkweed garden. I love this time of year and I love having Monarch caterpillars in my nursery again. Thank you for SUBSCRIBING to my channel, every subscriber makes a difference and I am truly so grateful for all of you. Say hello to me in the comments. Have a fabulous day.

  1. This was a great video. That monarch was really young. Like they typically hold the nice pale orange for a day, maybe two. And considering that little one was eating I’d say it was a day old. Oh and those caterpillars are just the cutest. Did you know there’s actually s way to tell when a monarch chrysalis is going to eclose during the day? (other than it’s obvious becoming transparent) I learned about this last year and it was so helpful. I can’t really explain it well 😅 But if you ever have a closeup of a ready to eclose chrysalis I’ll explain it then. I just can’t get over how helpful it was. Because if there was a chrysalis that looked like something might happen during the butterfly eclosing. I could just go to it around that time and watch it eclose. It’s definitely not a professional method, but I’ve noticed it is relatively accurate and just something I’ve observed that works. And it hasn’t served me wrong yet so I will continue to go by that.

  2. Love your new plans for your garden. Funny we had viburnum bushes that grew up like that at our Texas house. I love all the surprise babies on the milkweed 💗🐛🐛🐛🦋

  3. I just walked out in my garden in N.Florida and there was a monarch caterpillar on a bush in a question mark. Very unusual this time of the year here

  4. Wow what a wonderful surprise after coming in from shoveling snow here in N.Y to see you have a new video out planning your garden. Everthing looks great!! And to see all that new growth is always so exciting. You'll get it done little by little. That's the fun of it.

  5. Thank you so much for sharing your Amazon and shopping affiliates! I look forward to checking them out after watching your fantastic videos! I'm also in Florida and love raising the butterflies, too. Many thanks for taking the time to share your gardening with us (and glad you're feeling better)!

  6. Excited for you..I've been working on my own . You are great inspiration. I harvested some common milkweed this past fall hoping to incorporate it into mine. Stay well blessings

  7. I am sooo ready for the season to start up here.
It's almost time for the Mourning Cloak to make its appearance. Early yet though. Nothing in particular else is expected until next month.
