  1. I love it, thanks for sharing. I love the look of the new tree especially the horizontal sweeping grout strokes in the background. Not sure if you planned for it, but it looks like the soft horizontal lines of the grout resembles snow. xoxo

  2. First time seeing your videos. I like both. We've done tile, and yes, wipe off right away. Although you wanted a border it may be easier with less wood to have to apply grout to. Also maybe grouting glass but mudding (drywall plaster or patching compound) would work better on rest of background. I dont think the cracking worry there. For that matter using a piece of drywall and gluing on could be an idea. Grout glass, mud rest. I may practice with smaller ones. Love concept. Never saw anything like this before. Going to look at your other videos!

  3. Rebecca, You are Soooo Talented, & Always get prettier on these videos, You are Beautiful!

  4. A great idea is to use hard candy like the jolly rancher sticks and use icing as the cement with kids

  5. I had all of my Christmas decorations stolen before last Christmas. I’m disabled and can’t afford to replace anything, DIY is so expensive. What used to be my favorite holiday is now so depressing. I’m already dreading it.

  6. Rebecca, I Love the First Christmas Tree.
If Someone has a large house with a Large space to hang the Christmas Tree. AND if Someone has not so large house & space to hang the Christmas Tree, I'd use the second Christmas Tree.
Both are Beautiful. You said," If You were to make the third Christmas Tree You'd put the mirror pieces a little closer".
How would it look if You were to use a marker with Silver Cristal between the Christmas Tree's Limbs?
    Love every Video of Yours!

  7. Omg i love it!!! I wish I didn’t live in an apartment in the middle of New York 🙁 I want to make one for my living room

  8. I totally love the second glisty mirror but I think I top would do a Walmart mirror.
    Omg love the star too..
    Thank you for your time.
    Love your videos.
    Stay safe

  9. I love the first tree, but liked the tree topper of the second tree better, I loved all the frosting you did with the second tree. Thank you for sharing this project. We are definitely doing this project this year. Happy Holiday Season!

  10. I like both. Each one has a character. The old one can be Greek if you add a little blue pattern, or Morocan if you add lanterns with stained glass or colorful Morocan ornaments. The new tree is more on the modern side and I would maybe stick different sizes of silver snowflakes or just leave it be.

  11. Love the new one! Im thinking though, I would mock in zig zags that show middle branches… and if we are doing a 3 d of some sort, I have heavy crystal vases that are no longer used, maybe for the top star, and or to crush for sparkle!

  12. It may be safer to break the mirror by putting a covering over it like a heavy piece of plastic.. The paper that was already on it may have been good? Safety first!
