The development George Wythe Edible School Gardens Project will be step one in increasing health food access for this Southside Richmond community. The project will also increase student community and social engagement around issues of food justice and social entrepreneurship. It is Renew Richmond’s desire, in-line with our partners, that we make sustained efforts to ensure the success of the ‘first of its kind’ Richmond Public School sustainable food initiative.
