Using stock tanks is a great way to have a container garden in your back yard! They are perfect for renters or anyone that doesn’t want to dig into the ground and it is also good if you don’t want to bend as far to tend to your garden.

I will show you how easy it is to start a garden with stock tank containers!

  1. I am installing 2 stock tanks in my garden this year and I love your video. Very detailed and informative. Can you please tell me the name of the weed block fabric you used in the bottom of your tanks and where you purchased it? Thank you!

  2. They make a bit to smooth the ruff holes so not worth a trip to the ER. The bits cheap.

  3. I am really glad I found you on youtube. I am really enjoying your videos. If you don't mind me asking, what are the concrete blocks called that you sat the stock tank on. I am having trouble understanding what you said. I got "concrete raised bed" and I couldn't understand the rest of it….. Thanks

  4. Hi! Did you have any issues with the kellogs soil in the stock tanks? The kellogs soil I bought seems to be compacting a lot and also not as well draining. Wanted to know if it is working out well for you, before I use it in my stock tanks.

  5. Lovely video. I use a hammer to pound the sharp metal around the drilled holes flat.

  6. Beautiful! I just got two of the lower tanks for my garden. I am new to gardening and got the same potting mix . I did not add the fabric barrier 🙁 is all my soil going to leak out the bottom now ? I drilled the holes and threw the soil in. Guess I should have watched this video first. 😫 I’m in the Bay Area and literally learning as I go.

  7. Newly Subscribed, been enjoying your videos. Great ideas and information. Your happy disposition is nice to see ! ❤️ thanks for Sharing
