Annette Shrader is familiar with the concept of lasagna gardening, a layering of brown materials (dry leaves, newspaper, peat, pine needles) and green materials (vegetable and fruit scraps, garden clippings, coffee grounds) to create a new garden space. But until she met up with an experienced and knowledgeable grower, she’d never thought about achieving the same healthy growing environment in a container. This is a terrific way to garden!

  1. Always fill my flower pots with fall leaves so i dont have to use so much soil. Great video because alot of people don't know this. Such a money saver on potting soil. Leaves with will eventually break down and feed your plants.
