Once in a while, everyone needs to stop and smell the roses, literally, and pause from a busy day. Even better is if you have your own garden to serve as your respite from the exhausting daily grind of work or even what can sometimes be a demanding family life.

So the first step to having that aesthetically calming respite is knowing how to design a garden. A garden is basically a collection of plants of either the flowering or non-flowering type or a combination of both arranged in a way that they complement and balance out each other. Waysandhow.

    Thank You……This is good advice for us. We live on the river in Koh Kong Cambodia. We borrowed a rake that a neighbor had made it from bamboo and cord that he found along the banks of the river. We picked up the trash and raked up the rocks, broken bricks, and other small bits of trash. We found sand and dirt under it all. We let the weeds grow and stick plastic flowers here and there. It's beautiful.

    I want a multifunctional garden, producing fruits, vegetables, herbs and ornamental, that i can also use as a parking lot, which I was able to do somehow.
