  1. I may be the only person on earth who has not heard about Moringa. I zoomed down many rabbit holes and read fascinating information. I now going to look for it.

  2. I love the cottage area. Every time I see it in the background I look at it to see what progress has been made. I'm excited to see how it looks when it's finished! You give me so much inspiration!

  3. Oh noooo. I feel ya. We have avocado trees going in tomorrow and its a lot to get ready. But not what you are going through. So sorry.

  4. Sorry you hit that snag!!! Mine is the previous owners put down this thick plastic weed protection covering the entire wide driveway and garden. I planted trees and now I have had to go in with a jackhammer and puncture holes in the plastic so that the water could go through so that the roots of the tree can secure the trees to the ground so they don't topple on my house. I have been battling that plastic for 30 years now and have no idea where the plastic is or isn't until I get there. It's all covered in heavy gravel so I would need Machinery that I can't afford to scrape the gravel away and pull up the plastic. So my best option is that jackhammer. Good luck and I hope it's only in one or two spots.

  5. Brian I have kind of a similar deal as you. Many gardens, landscapes, terraces, etc. I started on my new property 3 years ago and used a lot of stone, Heritage boulders. Blue stone flag stone. Blue stone gravel and much more. It was spendy! For some later projects I used logs. They're hard wood and they were free! When they rot away I could always go to stone then. But I like the mix of stone and wood. Looks great! Thanks for the video.

  6. You’re totally amazing and outrageously organized. Where’s the best place to buy flower seeds other than Lowe’s or Plant Depot

  7. Hi Brian! I really like the logs. Good choice. It looks very natural. Where do you get your flower seeds. I need to get some that I can plant some in zone 10a.

  8. Your cottage garden seedling array is so exciting to see. The enchanted space is shaping up beautifully.
Can't wait to see the moringa hedge emerging. Inspiring me to start a wider variety of perennials for 2023.
Big thank you for the best tomato and bell pepper season ever along with my very first sweet potato crop.
Owe it all to your videos and book.
When the snow flies in the Adirondack Mountains I watch your channel and get myself in gear for next years flower, herb,
and veggie beds on my terraced lawn and gardens.
Yes, terraced as in a southern exposure astride the 33 steps and five landings up to the front door and then a slope aside the house and a shady trek on the steep hill outback on the north side.
May your forget-me-nots bring you a carpet of soft, misty blue in the new year.

  9. Tree planting video wasn't missed due to all the interesting flowers and garden update.

Praying you can figure out the soil issue without having to add more work or additional cost. God bless!

  10. I am in 10B Florida. Those moringa need to be repotted now. They come up strong with a long root. Don't worry, they are next to impossible to kill but you are going to need plenty of water and fertilizer for lush growth like a hedge. There is an actual dwarf variety that would make a better hedge. I know what they say but they don't smell like peanut butter and the leaves are bitter. Most people dry and powder the leaves to put in other recipes. You might want to try pigeon peas. They make a nice small tree and are super productive.

  11. Could you use the moringa by potting it indoors? Live in Ontario Canada and going to be moving further north to a condo in Huntsville Ontario shortly so the summers will be shorter..but would love to try that plant somehow. I love poppies but tried different times to grow them but can't seem to Any suggestions? By the way don't see the moringa on the list above.

  12. A 1600's cottage would also have a moat and a catapult for protection. Those were some rough years./
