Growing food gardens is hard work! Is there an easier way? Food grows wild in certain “edible ecologies,” with no or little human maintenance. We can bring nature home and design our own low-maintenance edible ecologies.

  1. Finally just decided to look up Jerusalem artichoke and I did not know they were cute little sunflowers!! Definitely going to try to find some seeds. I already have several mature elderberries growing wild in my yard. I don't think I have ground nuts though next to mine though. Mine are surrounded by Thimbleberry, Goldenrod, chicory, clovers, aster, milkweed and nettles along with some honeysuckle and wild plums. 😊 Probably some other stuff that I don't know what it is yet.
