If you are very unfortunate to have an avenue of trees hanging over your property providing you yearly with 1 million of unwanted leaves, then this will give you an annual way of producing a product to use before the next year of leaves arrives.
Leaf mould is simple, fun & a great way of making free mulching material for your conifers, shrubs & trees in your garden to protect their root systems for winter. A good amount around the base will retain moisture & provide the plant with fresh organic matter, keeping the soil fertile & improved.
Shredding of any waste material will root down and compost a lot faster so using your #stihl 😉 lawnmower to help with this is better than raking if you have a large area.
Seeds, leaves & debris if covering a lawned area would better be collected using your home lawnmower as a vacuum cleaner sucking up & shredding at the same time providing two services at once.
@stihl RMA 448 TC is by far the best lawnmower I’ve used, running the battery with wet grass will considerably run down the battery faster so keep the blades higher if you must cut the grass in wetter weather or purchase a backup AP300 battery at
