My community is the type even in good days is everyman for himself generally as it been for mostly 20 years . Now even here nobody cares about anyone else as if the Covid 2020 times made people more selfish extra. Than it is made to look so noble to be uncaring and at same time is half hearted attitudes.. It was so interestingly different in 2019 to early 2020 before Covid times . Covid year set off a weird reset so much that cannot be normal . When Covid was going on Hong Kong was being taken over by a kind of pro-Communist thing in China which people were distracted from seeing though some got it clearly enough as me from a US military guy pointed it out to me . I GOT that . Many dont think China will try anything but some persons want to make us submit to dictatorial or very strict laws!! Many turn the other way in town from really seeing it. Many church people will hush it up making it like taboo to discuss it or judge a person as not worthy to know keeping any information for their self-righteous ways for self.
Adding more observations . Example i know scripture very well but a church i had been going to tries to dumb me down upfront or hush me up like i a child , 59 age, .. some there think everything is fine and do not seem to really try to help anybody or act apathetic so. You are told in a way what you can talk about there as is implied if they see you talking. They claim they know Gods grace too, but deny it by what they carry out . Legalistic discipline attitudes ! They will push for false teachings while claiming to be like true baptists in doctrine but wont discuss or mention those truths.
Also be aware that church gatherings is not the building at all and especially these days of places becoming like cults in lack of truth that frees from evil. Many will jump on you if you dont attend church on Sunday or week days regardless of Henrews 10 verse of assembling which is misused from its context by the way ..Is why to study your bible well to want it so . Is very wise and back up to analyze teachings from pulpits too.
I just was in a McDonalds and someone was in the men's stall on their phone and would not stop to let someone use the toilet which was me. They ignored you if you asked to say you need the toilet .So I had to go to another spot in a very small town that has a lousy city management. There are only bathrooms right at downtown . This is Californias style of doing stuff I guess ??! Ignore human needs is the way it is. Than if you talk about camping going to nature to utilize it like a tree or bush even out in the desert Noman's land , people get upset and are like light foots in a rural area. If you do not have a toilet i guess you are to let it poison your system according to stupid human society ..if you get my drift. Its a no brainer like if people too civilized or over-urbanized. Many wont survive camping even never had been far outside or a nice forest seems.
I live in a town very rural on edges in desert very hot weather in summers which I dread much to walk in. But its last real town 200 miles east of Los Angeles. With 3 hours drive or days of walks before you get to the Colorado river of open desert wilderness better to hike thru in winter time with much water. When stuff hits the fan i will hopefully in winter cool cold air hit the trail or walk that way to Arizona orvif can be NV going eastwards. Leave CA once for all easier said than done still . I do not drive but will myself to walk often. You know is healthy to do when can do.
