Love and light!

I was so excited to plant my first vegetables that I grew in the greenhouse into the vegetable garden!

Sadly enough, they were SCORCHED days after planting. Why? I learned the hard way that you have to HARDEN OFF your plants if you grow them in a greenhouse before planting them in the outside world.

Watch and learn from my mistake!

If this happens to you, stay positive and keep going!

Do you have any transplanting tips or horror stories?

  1. I absolutely did this my first year too. It’s so sad when you’ve been working so hard and it goes wrong but then you learn the lesson!

Are you going to experience the cold snap that’s coming for the next two days? I spent most of the day covering all of the delicate plants in the garden.

  2. Just about everyone has done it. Your learning and doing great. Best part though it’s not too late to start new seeds outside!

  3. worked so hard on my yard and garden this year but this heatwave is killing slot of my plants during the day and the strong winds at night are wreaking havoc on my trees. trudging onward with shovel in hand. seeing your lovely garden inspired me. thanks
