Watch for a preview of a new video series that focuses on the dangers of smoke and just how little time you may have to escape a home fire. In this series, UL’s Fire Safety Research Institute (FSRI) shows viewers how fast fire and smoke can spread throughout a home or apartment building and explains the need to plan ahead to save lives. Each video combines real-world footage from FSRI’s research and 3D modeling from various styles of homes including a single-story single-family home, two-story single-family home, garden-style apartment, and a high-rise apartment.
