  1. I am glad to see you added a t-shirt with a pocket! This old man cannot stand a shirt without a pocket 🤣 website looks awesome you guys are doing so good. Thank you so much for the advice on the fertilizer injector here the other day!!

  2. Great content as always! ‘Backyard grocery store’ is my favorite. I’m not a fan of t-shirts but would use it as a sticker.
Will you grow beets this winter? I think I remember Brook saying she didn’t like the taste but could sure use some pointers. I bet I planted almost a full pack of beets last winter and didn’t get squat for all my effort. But I’ll definitely be trying again this winter.
My Fall corn was a total bust. Tasseled at 3’ and not a corn even showing yet. 😩 Thankfully it’s dried up enough here that my second planting of okra has started coming in. Okra is also good for you because of the mucilagen (sp?) y’know the ‘slime’? makes me go pooooo! 😁

  3. I’ve loved that “it’s time, it’s tator time” phrase from the very first time you said it on your previous site. Now I love it even more with the boys chanting it! My favorite YouTube channel.

The site looks great. I like the weekly vlog idea too. As for the pronunciation of Puerto Rico, the boys up here in PA pronounce it the exact same way.

I wonder how okra, or okree, would grow here in southern PA?

  4. I hope you save some potatoes to teach people the process of growing slips. Wasn’t impressed with my Vardaman or Porto Rican. I’ll stick with Beauregard from now on. Maybe give the Georgia Jets a try…🤔

  5. Y'all are so cute!! And your boys are precious!! Keep up the good work! I love yalls style and honesty! Thanks for living your life in front of us!

  6. I kinda think that in regards to your sweet potato plots. The lack of crop quanties seems to a type of fertilizer issues. Too many of the varieties failed spectacularly. Which is odd because they are all commercial varieties they should have preformed.
What type of plant feeding was done?
What could have been done better?

  7. Happy to hear about your new web site ! I did sign up for your "News Letter !" Enjoyed the video, and Brooklyn's behind the back, side tater toss into the bucket !

  8. Love the new website! Sorry those Porter Ricos were so stinky. Any way y'all can get some "wife beater" style shirts? It's hot here in NFL Zone 8b and I need more sleeveless tanks!

  9. Love your channel…Lots of good info…And I look forward to hearing the boys talk…Especially when TyTy gets excited…They make my day!!!….Website looks great….You do need to do a "It's time!!….It's tater time!!" T-Shirt….Brooklyn has very much impressed me with all her energy through your back incident…Way to go Brooklyn!!!..Keep up the good work….

  10. I just can't even with your kids. They are too stinking cute.
(Dont tell them tho im sure they would ham it up extra if you did lol)

-i just got back from the store & bought some sweet potatoes. Vowing that i was going to grow my own next summer because i was completely disgusted with the old shriveled bottom of barrel last years crop still selection 🤦‍♀️

  11. My first sweet potatoes were light too. Lots of worms etc chewing the leaves and no dry days to spray. The second wave from their cuttings should be better if they can finish before the heat turns off. Beauregard from transplants did three times better than Covington mail slips and much cheaper.
Okree and tomatoes sounds perfect. I'm fried out and never mind boiling. Maybe the okra row is safe for a few weeks now. I was about to pull it out. Bet the tomato acidity solves the slime. Did screen shots of it and pickled onions for the cook. She likes recipes and instructions. I just throw it in a pot and see what happens. And no more Jambalaya for me either bout like working with fiberglass.

  12. I need help. My onion seeds sprouted, got a little leggy, now falling over. They look so weak. What am I doing wrong? I'm trying to save these in time to get them in the ground. Maybe it is time to up pot them already to give them room?

  13. Glad you're sourcing your merch locally! I'm big on supporting the local "little folks" instead of the big box stores.

  14. I like those shirts! I hope we can order from Canada! I really like the keep on growing shirt, I guess that’s why I need 2x extra large😂.

  15. Did I miss something? Are you not with Hoss Tools anymore? I didn't even know you had this channel till the show showed up, Dirt too Hard for a Garden/ What Can You Do? I got subscribed to this one as well. I was just curious about the Hoss You-Tube channel. Keep up yhe good work. I love your videos.
