Welcome to our backyard garden! It’s a little late to be posted as we have been harvesting all of this already but better late than never! We do things ORGANICALLY here so YES – we have some weeds and some critters…
We will be attempting a SECOND planting soon with various of the same and different plants! We just got our seedlings started hydroponically and in dirt inside! We figured out what grows best in the ground vs. the raised beds this year!
I plan to have my husband go over his design (in another video) for the watering system he made for the raised beds! It is wonderful!!!
What do you all have growing in your Georgia gardens?
What questions do you have?

WOW!!!! I am so glad to have 'happened' upon your channel!!!! I'm in Locust Grove, Georgia, +/-35 miles south of Atlanta and I'm trying to get ready for my spring garden. I want to plan it out as to not become so overwhelmed in the spring (as I have done in the past)! We live on 5 acres and I have 1/2 acre plot allocated for gardening and currently I have a 30X20 area for my winter garden. I look forward to following your videos and learning from you!!! What are are you in? Happy Growing!!!!

Beautiful garden. Do you have any issues with cross pollination between squashes and melons? Any tips? I started last year with beautiful watermelons and butternut squash and ended the season with a hybrid of both. At least the chickens enjoyed it. Trying again this spring……North Florida zone8b/9a
Fellow gardener from North GA. Our climate is great to have awesome vegetables. With proper care of course. Because summer heat can be exhausting.
Do you do the back to eden garden method?

Hi 👋 I'm in South Florida and possibly moving to North Georgia. I'm curious if you have any issues with powdery mildew? I have a hard time growing cucumbers in Florida due to the mildew and squash can be affected by it too. Do you have any fruit trees?
how do you deal with the fact that in a raised bed you're practically heating the soil from all sides as the ambient temperature now not only heats the soil's surface but also the sides of the beds?
great looking garden. I've been looking for a Georgia garden YouTube channel as I too am from GA.
