Today i am preserving a huge okra harvest. I am sharing 3 ways to preserve it, and tips and tricks to enjoy your okra. There are no recipes included in this. i am just showing you how to preserve your okra.

2. पौधों और पेड़ में सीधे स्प्रे और जड़ों में घोल को दिया जाये .. जिससे पौधों की रोग प्रतिरोधक शक्ति ( poudhe ki immunity ) को बढ़ने में मदद होती है , पौधे को अधिक लंबे समय तक बीमारी से और प्रतिकूल मौसम जैसे बहुत ज्यादा धुप या बहुत ज्यादा बारिश या ज्यादा ठण्ड में लड़ने की शक्ति देता है ,
3. सीधे ड्रिप या पानी के साथ भी बहाया जाता है या रेत में मिलाकर छिड़काव किया जाए.. जिससे मिट्टी ढीली होती है , मिट्टी पोला होती है , जड़ गहरी होने में मदद , जड़ अच्छे से फैलते हैं, पौधे की पकड़ मजबूत होती है , मिटटी की उर्वरा शक्ति ( soil microflora ) बढ़ाने में मदद ,
B. 1.फसल की पैदावार को 30% तक बढ़ाने में सहायक है..साथ ही कीटनाशकों पर होने वाले खर्च , मजदूरी और समय को 30% तक बचाता है.. 2. स्प्रे किये गए पदार्थ को धुलने नहीं देता , खाद्य पदार्थ में पोषक तत्व को बनाए रखता है , 3. मिटटी को जैविक तरीके से उपजाऊ बनाने में मदद करता है ,
C. (100% organic CERTIFICATE , nonionic , non-toxic to plant , eco friendly , biodegradable and compatible ) .. .. 1. Activator 5 रुपये = 5 मिली लीटर प्रति 15 लीटर स्प्रेयर 2. Plant nutrient 15 रुपये = 15 मिली लीटर प्रति 15-20 लीटर स्प्रे टैंक + आवश्यकता होने पर कीटनाशक / कवकनाशी मिलाया जा सकता है ,
D. प्रोडक्ट तैलीय पदार्थ , केमिकल दवाई , पाउडर या लिक्विड फ़र्टिलाइज़र , खाद के साथ आसानी से मिलने योग्य है
E. दोनों सामान उपलब्ध कराने हेतु आधार पूर्ण पता एवं दो मोबाइल नंबर देना अनिवार्य जिससे सामान की डिलीवरी करने में परेशानी न उठाना पड़े .. आईडी प्रूफ पूरी तरह गुप्त रखा जाता है..
F. पौधे पोषक तत्वों की कमी ( lack of nutrients ) से होने वाली बीमारी जैसे – पत्तियों में पीलापन , पौधे का सिकुडन , जड़ में गलन , पौधे का मुरझाना , फल में आकार रंग वजन नहीं होना , फूल या पत्तियों का झड़ना , पौधा नहीं बढ़ना या समय पर ग्रोथ नहीं होना , समय से पहले पौधे का बूढ़ा हो जाना , आदि पाये जाते हैं , को जैविक तरीके से ठीक करने में सहायक है ..
G. यदि आपके पौधे में कीट या फफूंद हो तो , कीटनाशक और फफूंदीनाशक मिलाना है. .. ज्यादा एल्कलाइन वाले पदार्थ इसमें नहीं मिलाना है.. खरपतवार के साथ केवल एक्टिवेटर मिलाना है ,, पौधे पोषक नहीं मिलाया है.. सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात यह है कि आपको हर उपयोग से पहले संगतता की जांच करनी चाहिए ..

You must have heard me admit in my recent garden tour video that though I grow a lot of okra (because it's so pretty and just thrives here!), I don't actually USE it. ☺️ I've never found a way to cook it that I like. Thank you, thank you, thank you for educating me so thoroughly about this vegetable – and for giving me options! Two important things I learned that I've never heard anywhere else are (1) don't cut off the tops when pickling to prevent a slime jar, and (2) use vinegar in water to take away the slime before processing. Wow! Great info and presented very clearly. Again, thank you! Now I'm off to harvest and USE some okra. 😊
Good points my friend! I'm growing okra for the first time this year. Planted late, but I have lot's of time for them down here. I don't do a lot of fried either, but I don't mind the slime.

BOOM! I just found some gold in the way back machine! Very good video. Lots of tips on okra and issues with it. Now I know how to deal with it if I have to slice it with a hatchet and how to deal with the slime. I am not a fan of the green slug so that tip ALONE is 24k and more people need to hear about it. You do a great job Sarah!
Pick okra when 3 to 4 inches long. Steam for 20-25 minutes in steamer and no slime. 3-4 inches is perfect for pickling also. Fry those you miss unless it is too hard. You can also freeze whole on trays then bag, thaw and slice as needed. With okra the more you cut it the more it puts on. You'll have more than you want. Also cut the big leaves so you can see it. Pruning it makes it put on more and more. jmho

Definitely love love love pickled okra. Once I tried to do a raw ferment with okra and made the mistake to cut the stem end off… Big mistake… The whole crock went off!. This is my first year growing okra and as soon as you pick the plants jump taller and make more to pick 😊

Yes this is the way I do mine. Sometimes I freeze whole but make sure you cut while frozen or you will have a slimy mess. Blessings from Texas.
