Wow you are lucky you still get to plant. I'm Illinois so everything is going dormant now. It snowed on Halloween. You should fill that crack in your patio with some Epoxy Sika Self-leveling Sealant I saw a man using it on youtube, the address is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0yL-rzB8W4 . This way saves you trouble from weeding over and over. Those planters are absolutely gorgeous!
