Good morning from my beautiful, rain-soaked garden!
Here are some morning glory cuttings that I had kept for rooting about 10 days ago, they are ready for their forever home so I’ll plant them in a 10 inch pot today.
The reason they are so lush and green and bug free is because they are greens of the season. Avoid trying to grow your regular spinach and other greens that we see in refrigerated market shelves as those can’t grow well in too much humidity and water in this season and are also frozen and not fresh so you won’t get their nutritional benefits. Instead try to grow greens that are in the season, harvest them fresh and add them to your meals. You’ll immediately feel the difference in flavour and your health too.
Apart from morning glory, there are quite a few other greens like Malabar spinach, talinum, amaranth that grow beautifully in this monsoon season, do give them a try and tell me what you think.
Hope you are having a power packed week and wish you a fulfilling day ahead.
Loads of green hugs!
